Recent data in tow Texas border counties continues to show that Republicans are outpacing the Democrats in voter enthusiasm which will likely equate to higher turnout on Election Day in November. And this is nothing new, either.

Per Fox News:

A report from the political consulting company Ryan Data & Research shows that Republicans are 76% of the way to matching 2018 turnout in Cameron County, Texas along the southern border with Mexico with eight days remaining until Election Day. In Hidalgo County, which also sits on the border with Mexico, turnout is 65% of the way to matching 2018.

On the Democrat side, the party is only 59% of the way to matching 2018 turnout in Cameron County and 47% of the way in Hidalgo County.

Democrats have been predicting that the ever-growing number of Hispanics will turn Texas blue and turn it to a net Democrat-voting state. But they have been saying this for well over a decade and despite their partial true prediction of the growth of Hispanic voters, the blue wave has never materialized.

But analysts note that the actual numbers coincide with trends that show that Hispanics are supporting the GOP in the Rio Grande Valley, even in areas that had been dominated for years by Democrats.

One major wedge issue seems to be illegal immigration. Democrats are married to open borders, but many of the long-time Hispanic residents in the Rio Grande Valley are threatened by waves of illegals. Not only do they destroy property values and bring diseases, they also make natural-born Texan Hispanics look bad. They bring drugs, human sex trafficking, and crime with them as well as taking away jobs from local citizens.

Democrats are in favor of this destruction of Texas, and local Hispanic Texans are sick and tired of it. This is one big reason they are turning to Republicans in droves. And female Hispanic voters are leading the charge!

As long as the Democrats push open borders and are soft on crime and illegals, Texas Hispanics will continue abandoning the Democrat Party and moving to the GOP column.
