Senators John McCain (R-AZ) and Bob Corker (R-TN) have a lot in common. Today, however, what they’ve got most in common is that they’re both using their positions to undermine President Trump.

Corker told the leader in fake news, CNN, that Trump was “debasing the nation” and that he couldn’t support Trump again.

Corker calling Trump a liar:

“I think world leaders are very aware that much of what he says is untrue. Certainly, people here are because these things are provably untrue, I mean, they are factually incorrect and people know the difference. I don’t know why he lowers himself to such a low, low standard, and debases our country in a way that he does, but he does.”

Corker saying Trump is bad for our nation:

“I think the things that are happening right now that are harmful to our nation, whether it’s the breaking down of when are we going to be doing hearings on some of the things that he purposely is breaking down, relationships we have around the world that have been useful to our nation, but I think at the end of the day when his term is over, I think the debasing of our nation, the constant non-truth telling, and the — just the name-calling, the things that I think the debasement of our nation is what he will be remembered most for, and that’s regretful. And it affects young people. I mean, we have young people who for the first time are watching a president, stating, you know, absolute non-truths nonstop. Personalizing things in the way that he does. It’s very sad for our nation.”

Here’s McCain on the View mocking the President and joining with the liberal women to hurt his own party.

With Republicans like these… who needs Democrats?

I wish we could say “Good Riddance” to both of these Senators, but it seems that while Corker is retiring we’ll have to deal with McCain for a while longer.
