Recently, President Trump has aired his frustrations with House conservatives over the recent failure to pass the GOP replacement plan for Obamacare. Many conservatives were taken aback by the President’s willingness to call out specific conservative members like Jim Jordan (R-OH), Mark Meadows (R-NC), and Raul Labrador (R-ID). They were particularly concerned because the House conservative leaders were the men who voiced their support for the President even in the most difficult of circumstances… even when House moderates and leadership were turning their backs on the man who would become President.

On Fox News, conservative radio host Laura Ingraham voiced her concerns with the President’s actions and reminded him that on the issues he cares about most… it’s conservatives who will be his closest and most important allies.

I think it is really, really unhelpful to Donald Trump’s ultimate agenda to slam the very people who are going to be propping up his border wall, all the things he wants to do on immigration, on trade. I don’t know where he thinks he’s going to get his friends on those issues…

Smashmouth politics on every issue, every time someone has even a minor disagreement, I don’t think that’s going to get you very far in the end.
