A Texas Republican Congressman, Will Hurd, has an idea to run fiber optic cable from one end of the country to the other, underground, to detect people crossing our border illegally. This is in lieu of, or instead of a border wall.
Great plan. The cable won’t stop anyone from crossing, but will simply alert border patrol that someone or group of someones has.
The “Green New Deal” that AOC and others have proposed is nothing more than a new communist manifesto. It’s not Democratic or any other kind of socialism. It’s straight-up communism. And what does their economic program have to do with global warming? Absolutely nothing.
