I am quite sick and tired of these millionaire crybabies interrupting my entertainment and relaxation (FOOTBALL) with their somewhat invalid and poorly orchestrated political protest. If they had used their position of popularity, adulation, and financial status, to help their communities, perhaps there would not be so much crime, so many unwanted pregnancies, and so many run-away “fathers” in the inner cities today.
Their communities would earn, and have the respect, of many other cultures, including the Police, the Military, the sports fans, and the youngsters they should be showing a good role model. This is not a “race” thing.
This is a Social situation; The Billionaire owners are concerned with their profits; the spoiled-brat players are using discontent to further a cause (?); they don’t seem to be on the same page. Depending on who is speaking, the protest involves different reasons. Now the Politicians are getting involved just to further their cause (?).
And you and I are stuck in the middle! Middle America is paying again. ENOUGH!
The spoiling and pampering of these highly paid athletes began with High School. Or maybe with the Pop Warner League. Either way, it has escalated to the Professional level. So much that I hesitate to refer to them as “Professionals”.
This was started by a young man that was raised by a middle class family, spoiled and popular. He did not live in the ghetto like many of his ‘brothers’ and ‘sisters’. He is now using their vulnerabilities for his personal gain.
This “protest” action is poorly organized. The purpose also seems to have changed with the daily headlines. And those looking for their own “fifteen minutes of fame” have jumped on the bandwagon.
Let us not forget the advertisers that are using this situation to enhance or sell their product; however they can get your attention.
STAND STRONG FOLKS! DON’T LET YOUR ENTERTAINMENT BE RUINED! SO WE GIVE UP A LOT FOR THIS YEAR; NEXT YEAR WE WILL GET IT BACK. WE CANNOT LET THEM WIN AT OUR EXPENSE!
