The child grooming Democrats are at it again, this time in California where dangerous Democrat Gavin Newsom has signed a bill into law that would allow tiny tots as young as 12 to give their own consent — without parental involvement — for mutilating and dangerous transgender surgeries and drug therapies.
Newsom signed Assembly Bill 665 into law last week claiming that he did so because it insures that little kids can control their “mental health.”
In his signing statement, Newsom wrote, “Youth ages 12 and older with private health insurance already have the right to consent to their own mental health services, but youth with Medi-Cal coverage do not. This bill extends that right so that minors in Medi-Cal may also consent to their mental health care services. This bill eliminates an eligibility disparity which places lower-income youth who do not have private health insurance at a disadvantage, improving access to lifesaving care for young people.”
Of course, this bill is not about anyone’s “mental health.”
It is about further destroying the rights of parents, it is about grooming small children to sign onto the radical gay agenda, and it is about destroying America’s young people.
As The National Pulse reported:
The bill, known as Assembly Bill 665, allows 12-year-olds to consent to such treatment if they are considered “mature enough to participate intelligently in the outpatient services or residential shelter services” and if they are the “alleged victim” of incest or child abuse who poses a risk to themselves or others – no proof of genuine harm is required.
The bill, signed by Newson over the weekend, further states that medical professionals must consult with the minor to determine “whether involvement of the minor’s parent or guardian would be inappropriate.”
California lawmakers justify this imposition into parental authority by claiming children identifying as LGBT often face parental rejection, harassment in school, or wider societal stigma, therefore, “obtaining parental consent for a youth who needs support is complicated by the parent or caretakers’ beliefs and stigma about mental health care.”
The law caused a stir among California’s GOP before it was even passed, with Senator Ochoa Bogh writing to Newsom last month to argue, “[b]y removing the requirement that a minor must experience extenuating circumstances to consent to mental health services on their own, we ignore the right of parents to make informed decisions regarding their child’s health.”
This is the extremist that think he should become president of the United States.
