NPR has been caught lying with its story claiming that Supreme Court Justices Gorsuch and Sotomayor have been fighting because Gorsuch won’t wear a mask in court. Turns out the story is false.

According to NPR’s Nina Totenberg, Supreme Court Chief Justice John Roberts put out a memo requiring al the associate justices to wear masks in court. But Justice Neil Gorsuch has refused to do so. This, in turn, had caused Justice Sonia Sotomayor to refuse to come to court and to call in over the Internet, instead.

It appears, though that this story is fake news. None of it is true. Both Gorsuch and Sotomayor has said it is false:

Indeed, both justices claimed that they were “surprised” by the story.

“Reporting that Justice Sotomayor asked Justice Gorsuch to wear a mask surprised us. It is false. While we may sometimes disagree about the law, we are warm colleagues and friends,” justices reportedly said.

Not only that, but it also turns out that Chief Justice Roberts never even issued any such order to wear masks.

“I did not request Justice Gorsuch or any other Justice to wear a mask on the bench,” Roberts said.

So, even that part of the story was a lie.

Not only that, but Gorsuch is vaccinated and boosted. So, why are liberals all upset at him?
