By, K Walker,

A social media spat between Elon Musk and Mark Zuckerberg has escalated to a possible IRL rumble.

The dispute began with a report posted to Twitter about Zuckerberg launching a rival to Twitter called “Threads.”

The news was reported by Mario Nawfal, a very successful entrepreneur and one of those Blockchain/NFT/Crypto bros, who is a prolific Twitter user and regularly hosts “Twitter Spaces.” Musk frequently interacts with Nawfal on the platform and has joined Nawfal on these Spaces numerous times.

Nawfal posted that a rival to Twitter will be released by Zuckerberg’s company Meta.

Musk replied to the tweet, “I’m sure Earth can’t wait to be exclusively under Zuck’s thumb with no other options. At least it will be ‘sane.’ Was worried there for a moment.”

A small account replied, “Better be careful @elonmusk. I heard he does the ju jitsu[sic] now.” with several laughing emojis.

Musk replied, “I’m up for a cage match if he is, lol.”

The Daily Mail reports:

A war of social media words between two of the world’s richest tech tycoons escalated last night as Mark Zuckerberg agreed to a cage fight with Elon Musk.

The Facebook founder, 39, posted on his Instagram stories ‘Send me the location’ sharing a screenshot of Musk’s earlier tweet bragging: ‘I’m up for a cage match if he is lol.’

In response to a article by The Verge about the proposed bout between the two tech giants, Musk seemingly responded to Zuckerberg tweeting: ‘Vegas Octagon’.

The social media taunts – fittingly delivered on the respective platforms owned by the billionaires – set the stage for a Silicon Valley rumble that would dwarf the magnitude of the string of celebrity bouts that have been big hits in Las Vegas.

Musk claims he has been trained in Kyokushin karate, taekwondo, judo and ‘Brazilian jiu-jitsu briefly’, while Zuckerberg has hit headlines recently after furiously challenging the referee’s decision against him at a jiu-jitsu tournament.

The public spat started Wednesday after Musk commented on a post about Zuckerberg’s newest suspected project, a Meta rival to Twitter dubbed Threads.

Sandwiched in the middle of the Tech Bro Billionaire spat was an anonymous Twitter account with the username “Penny2x” that replied to Musk and then posted a screenshot from Instagram where Zuckerberg had responded, “Send me location.”

So, Elon did.

Some Twitter users replied to Musk, warning him that Zuckerberg has been training in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu and recently won a competition.

We’ll admit that Zuck’s pretty agile — but would you expect anything less from a lizard person?

Musk has admitted on podcasts that he doesn’t work out much.

But don’t count Musk out just yet.

As noted by the Wall Street Silver account, Musk has a pretty significant height advantage standing 6’2″ to Zuck’s 5’8″, and the difference in weight just might be a game-changer, as Musk hilariously points out.

Here he is explaining “The Walrus.”

If nothing else, it would be highly entertaining.

The hashtag #TeamElon was trending early Thursday morning.

Many Musk fans were posting their support for the self-proclaimed “Chief Twit.”

Even the infamous Andrew Tate joined in.

It’s even making news in the United Kingdom.

But one person isn’t too keen on the idea — Elon’s mom, Maye.

Like most moms, she’s not a fan of the physical violence but would rather the boys talk things out.

Yeah… no.

A cage match would be pretty amazing, actually.
