Each year the conservative Heritage Foundation ranks countries around the world for how free they are and America has now slipped to 25th place in the era of Joe Biden.

“If you care about living a prosperous life, you should care about what government economic policies are,” says The Heritage Foundation’s Derrick Morgan says of the groups 2-23 Index of Economic Freedom in a new video by John Stossel.

The biggest reason the U.S. has lost is status? Congressional overspending.

Stossel added:

In addition, politicians ban some of our choices, like future natural gas hookups and gas-powered cars. Many want to ban contraception, TikTok, guns.

And on top of that, America’s bureaucrats add thousands of regulations, most of which restrict individual freedom.

“Those are examples of our smothering government and why we keep dropping places,” says Morgan.

The world’s least free countries have even more smothering governments.

And, according to the report, things are getting worse in the era of Biden.

The Democrats are slowly taking away American freedoms and causing our freedom quotient to drop year-by=year.

Democrats are a danger to this country.
