Thanks to the woke nonsense coming out of the corrupt Biden administration, Americans are losing faith in the U.S. military, the one institution that usually enjoys the most support.

A new Gallup poll finds that America’s faith in the military has fallen to a more than 20-year low. The level of trust has plummeted and now only 60 percent have a positive view of the armed forces. That is down from the 74 percent seen in 2018.

Per The Federalist:

As noted by Gallup, overall confidence in the U.S. military steadily improved during Ronald Reagan’s presidency and continued to “surge” following the Gulf War and 9/11 terrorist attacks. While Americans’ faith in the armed forces would go on to hover “above 70% for the next two decades,” these numbers declined to 69 percent in 2021 and have “declin[ed] further since then, following the poorly executed exit from Afghanistan.”

Most notable in the survey’s findings, however, is the alarming drop in confidence among self-described Republicans and independents. While Republicans remain the group “most likely” to express faith in the military, these sentiments have plummeted in the past three years, falling from 91 to 68 percent since 2020. Meanwhile, independents’ confidence “has dropped nearly as much — by 13 points, from 68% to 55%” over the same period, to the point that they now “have less confidence than Democrats do.”

Of course, it might not be surprising since the military is constantly seen engaging in lunatic woke social engineering. Instead of training solders for war, the brass is more worried about abortion, DEI training, pointless anti-racism programs, Black Lives Matter nonsense, and promoting transgenderism and drag queens.

And that is aside from the mess Joe Biden made of the withdrawal from Afghanistan which ended up killing 13 of our soldiers and hundreds of Afghan civilians.

It is sad but true that America is quickly losing faith in a “military” that seems more about mincing around and pushing the radical LGBTQ agenda than in training soldiers to keep America safe.
