A number of big corporations have begun pulling their advertisement from Twitter depriving the transitioning social media giant of millions in revenue just as new owner Elon Musk is trying to reorganize it.
These big companies are canceling their ads because they stand against free speech. So, you should also deprive them of your own dollars as a customer.
Per Breitbart News, here is the list:
- General Mills Foods
- Audi autos
- Pfizer drugs
- Mondelez Foods (maker of Oreo Cookies)
- General Motors
- Volkswagen
As Breitbart noted:
Elon Musk responded to what he described as a “Massive drop” in advertising revenue for Twitter, saying: “Twitter has had a massive drop in revenue, due to activist groups pressuring advertisers, even though nothing has changed with content moderation and we did everything we could to appease the activists. Extremely messed up! They’re trying to destroy free speech in America.”
These companies stand against free speech.
They should be treated accordingly.
