New Jersey’s Democrat Gov. Phil Murphy is vowing to stop any more illegals from entering his state. This is the same Gov. who was all excited to make Jersey a so-called “sanctuary state.”

Murphy says his state doesn’t have the resources to take in more illegal aliens as migrants spill over from New York.

Per The New York Post:

“I don’t see any scenario where we’re going to be able to take in a program in Atlantic City or frankly elsewhere in the state,” said the Garden State Democrat to News 12 on Thursday.

“You need scale, enormous amount of federal support, resources that go beyond anything that we can afford,” he said on the station’s “Ask Governor Murphy” segment.

“Putting everything else aside, I just don’t see it,” the governor said, adding migrants have already come to NJ and they are “probably coming from New York or other locations.”

That is quite a proclamation from the same governor who claimed he wanted to make The Garden State a so-called “sanctuary state” back in 2017 when he ran for Gov. against Lieutenant Gov. Kim Guadagno.

“We’ll be a sanctuary – not just city – but state,” Murphy pandered during that campaign.

But now that large numbers of illegals are actually appearing at Murphy’s New Jersey door step, suddenly he’s against having them enter his “sanctuary state”?

What a blatant hypocrite.
