According to reports, X owner and tech chief Elon Musk has fired half of the social media outlet’s so-called “election integrity” team — including the team’s head.

There is still some question as to how serious Musk is about free speech — especially after hiring Linda Yaccarino, a left-winger, as his replacement CEO — but he does continue to make inroads toward the idea, and this time he has taken another important small step.

The news was revealed by X News Daily on Wednesday:

This is a good step at taking social media OUT of our election process… as it should be.

Social media has NO role in directing or interfering in our elections.

They have no right to delete or minimize politicians, they have no right to control the public debate, and they have no right to say what wee should be allowed to see.
