I follow movements, trends and phases; I read everything that makes sense. I don’t limit my perspective when I read; I focus on what is not said, like reading between the lines. What fascinates most is the relationship between big government, corporate power and society as a whole.

In the past, this relationship flowed harmoniously with a kind of “take care of each other” mentality but of recent there has been a clear shift; profit appears to be the only agenda corporations drive business. They side step anyone who stands in their way. They confiscate democratic governments and operate in the shadows, ignoring laws, and responsibility to society, leaving the small man gasping for survival.

Technology has advanced bringing abundance and knowledge, and the earth is rich enough to provide for everybody but surprisingly, unemployment is always on the rise, the youth have no future, and senior citizens lack financial security.

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) had been under negotiation in 2016, pushed by Obama, mostly in secrecy between the EU and US, but luckily it was rejected by Europe. TTIP would have reduced the regulatory barriers for doing business; erode food safety laws, environmental legislation, banking regulations and the sovereign powers of individual nations. Europe’s public service organs in health care, education, infrastructure, water and electrical services would have been opened up to US companies and this essentially would have meant privatization. TTIP would have given companies the right to sue governments, if government’s policies caused a loss of profits to a company. That means unelected global corporations would be dictating the policies of democratically elected governments.

Trump with his anti-global trade agenda, has put a stop to all this nonsense, at least for now.

Now, Europe does not have to worry about US processed foods which are contaminated with genetically modified ingredients, flooding European supermarkets. Food grown with pesticides, and beef reared on growth hormones which cause cancer will, for now, be kept away from the masses in the European market. These bi-lateral agreements tend to erode the tougher regulatory laws, in Europe, which prohibit contaminated food, and should be discouraged rather than encouraged.

TTIP would have caused unemployment as jobs transfered to the US, where labour regulations and trade unions are lower than in Europe.

The main stream media, as usual, deliberately kept away from the debate, and the massive demonstrations which took place in Germany and France in 2016 against TTIP had been kept under the lid. Most people go about their business, working, paying taxes, struggling to make ends meet, unaware their world is undergoing masive change.

There is reason to create awareness, inspire humanity to rise to a higher consciousness about our changing world, and what can happen if we don’t pay attention.

Another industry out of control is the pharmaceutical industry which is pushing for mandatory vaccinations laws on the population, in the name of profits, despite concerns of safety and the effectiveness of vaccines. Scientific data is intentionally manipulated to the benefits of powerful corporations and government policies. Merck & Co, the pharmaceutical giant, has come under fire for its controversial Measles-Mumps-Rubella (MMR) vaccine which is predicated to cause autism. Dr. Andrew Wakefield, whose research connected the MMR vaccine with the rise in autism in children, had his license revoked, and his work continues to be criticized by medical authorities.

Not only that but Merck & Co pushed yet another controversial drug; the Gardasil vaccine for cervical cancer. In an interview with the French magazine Principes de Sante, Dr. Bernard Dalbergue confessed that Gardasil is a worthless vaccine that does not protect against cervical cancer, but puts the individual at risk of paralysis, and other neurological debilitating ailments.
