Ford Motors is ending the option for lesees to buy their electric vehicle at the end of their lease and the reasons are both shocking and telling for what the far left is planning for us all.

It has generally been the practice for leased vehicles to be available to lease-holders at the end of a lease. Dealers usually allow customers to buy the car to own after the lease ends.

But Ford is ending that practice for its electric vehicles starting this year.

Ford has not really given a full explanation, only saying it wants to keep its EVs in its own network. But the real reasons show how EVs are negatively affecting car ownership.

There are many reasons for this change.

First, the car industry is switching to a system of ending private ownership of cars. They don’t want you owning your car. They want to control every aspect of your vehicle experience.

Second, EVs simply have no resale value because the batteries are so expensive that they are cost prohibitive to replace. Second-hand electric vehicles are worthless.

But the next reason is the most telling.

Third, manufacturers can’t get the supplies to make more battery packs, so they want to be able to take your car at the end of its lease and re-use its battery pack for another car.

Battery packs are not the only things car makers want to re-use. The other parts are also far and few between in the industry. So, they want to scavenge all sorts of parts from cars at lease end.

In other words, EVs are a heap of trouble for all of us.

Stop buying these hunks of junk, folks.
