One of the dumbest men on TV, CNN’s recently demoted anchor Don Lemon, was brutally schooled by someone much smarter than he when he brought up the idiotic idea of slavery reparations.
During a discussion with a British expert on the UK’s royal family, nitwit Lemon thought the queen’s death was a good time to try and force the British government to pay “reparations” for the African slave trade.
But British author Hilary Fordwich wasn’t having any of Lemon’s ahistoric foolishness.
“Some people want to be paid back and members of the public are wondering, ‘Why are we suffering when you are, you have all this vast wealth?’ Those are legitimate concerns,” Lemon said broaching the subject of reparations.
Fordwich admitted that many people are still rambling on about reparations. But she also had real, factual history on her side to show how stupid it is the try and tar the British Empire with that broad brush.
“Well I think you’re right about reparations in terms of – if people want it though, what they need to do is, you always need to go back to the beginning of the supply chain. Where was the beginning of the supply chain?” she asked rhetorically… because Lemon is too stupid to understand her point.
The smackdown continued…

“That was in Africa,” she continued. “Across the entire world, when slavery was taking place, which was the first nation in the world that abolished slavery?” It was “the British,” Fordwich declared, adding, “In Great Britain they abolished slavery. 2,000 naval men died on the high seas trying to stop slavery. Why? Because the African kings were rounding up their own people. They had them [in] cages, waiting in the beaches.”
She continued, “I think you’re right about reparations in terms if people want it though, what they need to do is you always need to go back to the beginning of the supply chain. Where was the beginning of the supply chain? That was in Africa,” royal expert Hilary Fordwich explained. “Across the entire world when slavery was taking place which was the First Nation in the world that abolished slavery? First Nation in the world to abolish it…was the British.”
“Two-thousand naval men died on the high seas trying to stop slavery. Why? Because the African kings were rounding up their own people. They had them on cages waiting in the beaches. No-one was running into Africa to get them,” she expalined to the dumb-as-a-brick Lemon. “I think you’re totally right. If reparations need to be paid we need to go right back to the beginning of that supply chain and say, who was rounding up their own people and having them hang from cages. Absolutely, that’s where they should start. And maybe, I don’t know, the descendants of those families where they died in the high seas trying to stop the slavery, those families should receive something soon.”
After Fordwich finished with her bravura performance, fool Lemon meekly closed out the segment and moved on. He knew he wasn’t smart enough to even make a half-hearted reply.
Good for Fordwich. It’s about time one of these ill-informed halfwits who parade as serious political commentators get shown for how empty they are right to their faces.Commentary
