An unsurprising new poll finds that Democrats would flee the country if the U.S. was attacked while Republicans would stay and fight.
Who didn’t see that coming?
According to a new Quinnipiac poll, finds that Democrats are both cowardly and unpatriotic. Whodda guessed it.
Per the poll:
As the world witnesses what is happening to Ukraine, Americans were asked what they would do if they were in the same position as Ukrainians are now: stay and fight or leave the country? A majority (55 percent) say they would stay and fight, while 38 percent say they would leave the country. Republicans say 68 – 25 percent and independents say 57 – 36 percent they would stay and fight, while Democrats say 52 – 40 percent they would leave the country.
HotAir also pointed out that blacks don’t care much about fighting for our country, either:
One other fascinating detail not visible in the table is the sharp split between blacks and Latinos on the question. Just 38 percent of African-Americans say they’d fight versus 59 percent who’d leave. But among Hispanics, 61 percent would fight compared to 33 percent who’d leave. I assume that’s a cultural legacy of America’s historical persecution of blacks, generating a degree of national disaffection that persists to this day. Without that same history of persecution, Hispanics’ numbers are more in line with whites’ and Republicans’. That’s another ominous data point for Democrats who are tracking Latinos’ rightward political shift.
Who can be surprised at this? Blacks have been told for 50 years that America hates them and they can’t make it here. So, why should they want to fight for the country?
But, also, to what party do most blacks belong? Yep. The unpatriotic, cowardly Democrats.
