On Sunday, former President Donald Trump won the Turning Point USA straw poll with 85% of the vote. While that isn’t much of a surprise, it was who won second that is of note.

“But, the interesting question is who would win if not Trump, who would your next choice be…and the convention choice would be…the governor of Florida or Nikki Haley or Mike Pence..and the second place…with 50% Vivek Ramaswamy!” Kirk added.

Per Breitbart News:
About 3,000 attendees responded to the poll, half of the approximate 6,000 total attendees. Half of the attendees were between the ages of 18-21, while the other half were of varying ages.

“For attendees’ second preference, half of the respondents chose Vivek Ramaswamy, who also spoke at the conference and was swarmed by attendees afterwards. Twenty-one percent named Trump as their second choice, and 13.5% chose DeSantis,” Breitbart News added.
