There is a true opposition as never seen before to the candidacy of Donald Trump. This opposition is within the Republican as well as the Democratic parties. This opposition includes Christian Conservatives who are trying to preserve their moral and ethical duty as well as integrity. There is the mainstream GOP who realizes that Trump has destroyed the Republican Party as they know it. We also have Independents who cannot believe such a clown is creating the circus within the Republican Party, and finally, the Democrats who are trying to have Hillary elected. Donald J. Trump promised to bring all groups together, he just was not specific on how these people would be brought together.
“My fellow Citizens, the rise of the blusterous bewilders the educated among the voters, conjoins opposing politicians, agonizes our international allies, threatens minorities, makes a mockery of the handicapped, and finally touches the hearts of those who just do not know any better. It is the time that we stop propounding how unhinged this is, and do something about this before it is too late.” Liselotte Huber, Germany 1929.
The foregoing quote describes not only the rise of the popular Hitler, but it also describes in modern times, Donald J. Trump. How prepossessing this conundrum is to see history repeating itself in the Country that ended the populist Democratic Socialistic party and death camps of Hitler.
While one who is more than eager to repudiate such discussion, one only needs to view history, and the rise and fall of Adolf Hitler to see such macabre likenesses. We can further our discussion by looking at Saul Alinsky, and his vestibule to Socialism.
Alinsky called for 8 levels of control that must be maintained before you can create a socialist state. While Trump espouses an ideal with Republicans, many of his political leanings today, as well as yesterday leaned towards a very liberal agenda, where one might consider it Socialistic.
1] Create poverty as high as possible, because poverty-stricken citizens are easier to control.
2] Create debt to an unsustainable level. At this level, you can create more taxes and in return include more citizens in poverty.
3] Control Healthcare, and you control the people. Period.
4] Gun Control. Control the ability of the citizenry from fighting back at the government. This way you are able to create a police state.
5] Welfare where you control, food, living and housing and you have control of the people.
6] Take control of education, what people can read, and learn such as “common core”
7] Religion, remove the belief in God from school and government
8] Class warfare. Create divide in wealthy and poor. This will cause discontent of the poor. You can then tax the rich more which creates poorer.
While this looks like, and shows as the boiler-plate for our current President, it also is in the words that one hears from a populist candidate. Tax rich more than poor, makes education cheaper in return for promising to do some type of workfare. We have a populist, Donald J. Trump who has used the government for eminent domain, a big government theft program that has also been given in cases to the rich and powerful. We also see it in the abuse of the Bankruptcy laws and bankrupting 4 major corporations to create a safety net of profits. We see a populist Candidate that has tax issues, and allegations of tax evasion for several of his business entities. All forms of the Rich getting more powerful while the poor continue in the spiral downward.
One who is adept in the history of the world cannot circumvent the obvious similarities to not sound obtuse, or non-PC in a world full of skeptics. We can find other issues, such as the Foundation of socialism is the control of Healthcare, which both parties espouse approval of, which any health care mandate is stepping down the path of socialism, and the Germany of the 20s, 30s, and 40’s of the last century. Finally, we need to look at the abortion crisis that we have in America, where we use it like a fine for speeding, and it can be ignored with just a little pain for a decision that was made that will last a lifetime. This was created and then endorsed and steamrolled by Margaret Sanger, Not to be outdone by her followers, Margaret Sanger spoke of sterilizing those she designated as “unfit,” a plan she said would be the “salvation of American civilization.: And she also spoke of those who were “irresponsible and reckless,” among whom she included those ” whose religious scruples prevent their exercising control over their numbers.” She further contended that “there is no doubt in the minds of all thinking people that the procreation of this group should be stopped.” That many Americans of African origin constituted a segment of Sanger considered “unfit” cannot be easily refuted.
Sanger’s political interests, emerging feminism, and nursing experience led her to write two series of columns on sex education, both very liberal, and ideological. One could argue socialistic in thinking. While Planned Parenthood’s current apologists try to place some distance between the eugenics and birth control movements, history definitively says otherwise. The eugenic theme figured prominently in the Birth Control Review, which Sanger founded in 1917. She published such articles as “Some Moral Aspects of Eugenics” (June 1920), “The Eugenic Conscience” (February 1921), “The purpose of Eugenics” (December 1924), “Birth Control and Positive Eugenics” (July 1925), “Birth Control: The True Eugenics” (August 1928), and many others.
Again we can look at the current Populist movement and Donald J. Trump to find a candidate who believed up to his running for office a pro-choice stance on abortion with very little limitations. We see a man who has portrayed on several instances a racist, and bigoted attitude towards minorities, handicapped, and the defenseless. His rhetoric to support the Vets has been outweighed by his battle to remove them from the sidewalks in front of his businesses. No, my dear Citizens, if you so calmly would support a populist that reads the novel written by Adolf Hitler on a nightly event, and who espouses the thought processes of Adolf Hitler and Alinsky, you truly are not aware of history, and the recapitulate it, and the carnage that will transpire.
