Trump has not changed  his stand on immigration.

During on of the debates Ted Cruz mentioned touch back deportation. Landing outside the U.S. and coming back in a short time. No details were given. It could be as short as changing flights, to a few  years.

The illegals would leave the country.

The term vetted has only been used in reference to the refugees, but could apply to the illegals.

Employment, criminal, education, and family records could be checked before or after the illegal was identified. The deportation could be a paper deportation. The amount of time in the U.S. would be a factor. Green  cards and TINs would be given out, but no citizenship.
