Well by now I’m sure you’ve all seen all the bogus photos of immigrant children sobbing behind cages and otherwise attached with all the malicious headlines.
You might be aware that a Facebook campaign started by Charlotte and Dave Willner of San Francisco, labeled “Reunite an immigrant parent with their child.” As of writing this article on Saturday June 23rd the campaign has raised over $19,896,870 with a total of 519,482 contributors in just eight days and counting. One source states that it’s garnering a total of roughly $4,000 a minute in contributions. The campaign was started with a goal of only reaching a total of $1,500 now the duo have turned it into a goal of reaching $25,000,000. Can you say greedy much!
With all the media attention and clout surronding the cause it would naturally be fitting that Facebook founder Mark Zuckerberg has donated an undisclosed amount to the cause.
Among the elite, multiple tech company leaders have came out in protest of President Trump’s “Zero tolerance” policy for those seeking asylum in the U.S. Recently Amazon founder and CEO Jeff Bezos has donated $33 million to a scholarship fund for those who came the the states illegally as children.
The media is only fueling the ignorance of the left and duping them into believing that the Trump administration has been separating child from parent during deportations since the inaugural day of January 20th 2016. The truth is that this has been in practice since the Clinton administration, labeled under the “Human trafficking prevention act” of 2000.
All in all, less than a week and a half ago President Trump was able to defy all odds and history. Trump meet with the North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un and was able to negotiate a deal to disarm them from nuclear weapons and bring home our war dead M.I.A. Service members. It’s a pathetic plea from the MSM to divert our attention away from the real issues surrounding our country and derailing the Trump administration’s agenda of making America great again to peace and prosperity.
