The Ecuadorian Embassy in London recently kicked out Wikileaks founder Julian Assange. This will set off a chain of very interesting events.  The British government is holding Assange for violating the terms of his bail agreement.  After they are through with Assange, he will be turned over to the United States.  The US government will charge Assange with conspiracy to commit computer intrusion and interrogate him. Assange will be forced to reveal what he knows about several leaks, including the leak of Democrat National Committee (DNC) emails.

On 22 July 2016, Wikileaks published the emails of DNC senior members that revealed that the DNC fixed the Democratic Party presidential primary process to favor Hillary Clinton. Instead of being outraged that the democratic process was being thwarted, prominent Democrats were outraged that someone’s emails were hacked.

Because Trump once made a joke that we could get a copy of Hillary Clinton’s emails from the Russians, the Democrats concluded that the DNC hacker was the Russians working at Trump’s request. This is how the Democrats hatched the idea that the government needed to investigate collusion between Trump and Russia to interfere with the presidential election.

The person ignored in the hacking scandal was Seth Rich. Rich was a young DNC staffer who was murdered in the street in Washington DC in the middle of the night around the time of the published emails.  Even though nothing was stolen, the local police concluded that this was a routine mugging and murder and deserves no special effort on their part. Murder is quite routine in the nation’s capital.  Rich’s family was fine with this decision. Assange, at that time stuck in the Embassy, showed concern for Rich’s welfare.  He even offered a $20,000 reward. When Assange was asked if Rich was sending him information, he deftly deflected the question.

Assange will soon be in US custody. Suppose that the US asks Assange about Rich and Assange reveals that Rich was the leaker.  This would mean that Russia and Trump were not responsible for this leak.  This means that Special Counsel Mueller wasted his time investigating them for two years.  Since Mueller was supposed to follow whatever leads the investigation revealed, he apparently did not do a good enough investigation to learn about Seth Rich.  This was either because Mueller was incompetent or because he only wanted to pursue Trump to undo the 2016 presidential election.  I will give Mueller the benefit of the doubt and assume that he was incompetent.

If it is established that Rich was the leaker, this brings up several questions. Why did DNC staffer Rich become so disenchanted with his employer that he turned traitor?  Was Rich assassinated by a vengeful Democratic Party operative?  Were the local police intimidated not to investigate the murder?  Were Rich’s family intimidated not to protest the police’s lack of interest in the murder?

If the Deep State pursues their interests by murder, the Seth Rich case is bigger than Watergate.
