Naturalization ceremonies are almost always beautiful and exciting events that showcase the awesome privilege it is to be called an “American citizen.”
One of those ceremonies was recently recorded and the impact of President Trump’s welcoming words to these new citizens was apparent on all the faces in that room.
The President said, “My dear fellow American. It is with great pride that I welcome you into the American family. No matter where you come from, or what faith you practice, this country is now your country.”
I’m not sure there is anything that the government does that is cooler than these naturalization ceremonies.
