While on her Global Warming College Tour in 2007, Sheryl Crow told the audience that the average person should use “only one square per restroom visit, except, of course, on those pesky occasions where two to three could be required”.

Though applauded by her fellow Al Gore and save-a-tree groupies, she was ridiculed by all who wish to do a thorough job of cleanup in the restroom. If you use only one or two squares it becomes very important that you use an abundance of warm soapy water to cleanse your hands…not environmentally recommended. Beyond that, the need for extra attention to clothes washing must be considered.

I’m reminded of this little star-studded idiocy episode due to the multitude of President Trump investigations. It seems now that a group of highly partisan Democrats headed by Robert Mueller might be screening the sewers under the White House and Mar-a-Lago to identify if the president is, or has been, following the one or two squares rule. They’re seeking anything possible to use against him and/or his family or associates that CNN and MSNBC can use to fill their airtime for 24-48 hours…

The latest lurch to non-conclusion is an investigation into possible inappropriate spending of inaugural committee donations. It seems that President Trump may have spent too little on inaugural balls, fluff, and hoopla and gave too much of the donated money to charities providing relief services to hurricane victims.  IMPEACH 45! IMPEACH 45!

While I have admittedly received more than one deserved ticket for excessive speed, I generally follow the local, state and federal laws. I expect others to have similar respect for our laws and the enforcement of them. If President Trump or Michael Cohen or Hillary Clinton or Lois Lerner or Charlie Rangel or any members of any of the myriad alphabet agencies under the executive branch or any group or individual throughout our government are or have been, subverting our laws they must be punished. The statute of limitations should include, but not exceed the perpetrator’s lifetime!

The law must be applied equally to members of all political parties and just discipline must be carried out. Likewise, any prosecutorial misconduct must also be harshly punished.

For nearly 26 months now, our current president has been under constant siege.  The swamp creatures are seeking anything…anything…on which he might be held criminally liable. From collusion to crapping, thus far no evidence has been presented that he has done anything different from any of his predecessors of any political party or governmental position. He is despised because he is an outsider and the insiders want to get rid of him.

If there is any severe bending or breaking of any law by any of our elected officials or the bureaucrats whom they hire, there should be swift justice meted. I’m not referring to a verbal or even written reprimand or censure put into a file and forgotten. I’m calling for punishment that cannot be waved in front of, and lauded by, fellow party members as a badge of honor. In my view, a lengthy stay in general population at the medium-security United States Penitentiary, Fort Leavenworth is an apt adjudication for those who have abused their fiduciary responsibility.

Continually searching the sewers of Washington D.C. for evidence of double use of poop paper when there is no direct tie to the president is ridiculous, wasteful of both taxpayer money and government resources and, at this point, needless. It is time to wrap up the politically motivated special counsel so that Congress and others can get back to their regular and normal in-fighting and wastefully spending our tax dollars.

If evidence is available, after more than two years of intense investigation, that President Trump unnecessarily used four squares, send him to Kansas. Otherwise, Mueller must shut it down and let Trump continue making America great again even if he’s unconventional or not presidential in his approach.
