It took a while, but now even all the liberal pollsters such as CNN and Morning Consult are now finally admitting that Joe Biden has the lowest approval ratings in U.S. presidential polling history.
The two mentioned above both admitted Biden’s dire situation this week:
- Morning Consult: Biden Plumbs New Depths: Net Approval Rating Now Underwater in 44 States
- CNN: Widespread Dissatisfaction with President Biden
CNN noted that most Americans are discontented with Biden, the economy and the state of the country.
“Biden’s approval rating in the poll stands at 38%, with 62% disapproving. His approval ratings for handling the economy (30%) and inflation (25%) are notably lower. Rising costs are a primary economic pressure for most Americans: 75% call inflation and the cost of living the most important economic problem facing their family. Last summer, that figure stood at 43%,” CNN added.
Morning Consult reported:
With less than four months until November’s midterm elections, the political environment has arguably worsened for Democrats as President Joe Biden’s dismal approval ratings abound across the country, including in states that will be key to his party’s hopes of holding both chambers on Capitol Hill, which face long odds.
Morning Consult Political Intelligence survey data gathered during the second quarter of 2022 shows voters in 44 states are more likely to disapprove than approve of Biden’s job performance, up from 40 states in the first quarter. It leaves the Democratic standard-bearer in a markedly worse position ahead of the midterms than then-President Donald Trump and his party faced in 2018, with attrition among Biden’s base a key factor, along with a comparatively more hostile review from independents and voters on the other side of the aisle.
Morning Consult went on to note that Biden’s approval even fell underwater in the states that were once his stronghold: “Over the span of three months, Biden’s net approval rating dropped underwater in Illinois and — for the first time of his presidency — in Washington, Rhode Island and Delaware, the latter of which he has long called home.”
Remember when the media constantly blared that Trump’s “lowest in history” approval ratings were proof that he was the worst failed president ever?
Notice, though, how all that sort of rhetoric is completely gone from the media as Biden’s numbers sink below Trump’s?
