Among the many, many, many lies Joe Biden blurts out on a daily basis, the latest is the he has “reduced the federal deficit,” a claim that Moody Analytics calls blatantly false.

Biden delivered this flat-out BS on Friday when the latest jobs report came out.

The May jobs report showed that the economy is failing under Biden, but while talking of the “good news,” Biden delivered the whopper. It isn’t the first time, either.

“Let me remind you again: I reduced the federal deficit,” Biden said on Wednesday. “All the talk about the deficit from my Republican friends, I love it. I’ve reduced it $350 billion in my first year in office. And we’re on track to reduce it, by the end of September, by another 1 trillion, 500 billion dollars — the largest drop ever.”

Regardless, Dan White, the Senior Director at Moody’s Analytics slammed Biden for his lie.

“The actions of the administration and Congress have undoubtedly resulted in higher deficits, not smaller ones. It is encouraging that the administration has proposed some initiatives to bring down the deficit, but so far none of those initiatives has been seriously considered,” White said.

But, the main factor in the small reduction we are seeing have zero to do with Biden. It is because the needless COVID spending is sunsetting.
