Like millions of others, I once dozed while warming a pew and absorbed Top 40 Easy-Listening sermons that lulled us to sleep.
Sominex preachers are not the sort to wear camel hair or eat wild locusts and honey, and they easily turned lots of us into a slumbering army of idle-worshipers equipped with rusting swords and armor. But, that was fine because the Steelers kicked off in 30 minutes, and I didn’t want anyone to raise a ruckus (you know, like those full gospel types that spoke in tongues, and went walking and leaping and praising God…) and cause me to miss much of the 1st Half.
And, for the most part, we didn’t see any need to rise from our pious spiritual slumber, did we?
We tithed. We got into the family car and headed to church and came back convinced we’d done our part, and we could fire up the barbecue in peace and contentment.
Until one day we saw the Children of Darkness, especially the political establishment, smirk at us while holding up the sign (pinkie and index fingers up, two middle fingers bent closed, thumb extended), and one by one, things grew worse economically and politically until the tremors of change shook us awake to find ourselves surrounded by a determined enemy busy establishing plans to strip away our faith, destroy our livelihoods, and import a foreign occupation army to occupy us and dilute the voting strength of Red State America.
What was going on? BOTH political parties were in on the Grand Transformation. Democrats wanted to replace an electorate. Republicans wanted to reduce wages to subsistence levels.
WE the PEOPLE watched as our republic was being replaced by an Empire that sent our sons and daughters to distant deserts to enforce the will of the establishment elites, while back home, we were all told “Good jobs aren’t coming back. But, don’t worry. We’ll give you food stamps. We’ll give you an allowance, but only as long as you clean your rooms, stay out of the way, and keep your mouths shut.”
Over the past two decades, the establishment declared the 1st, 2nd, and 5th Amendments void. The Constitution would not be enforced. The established Elite Children of Darkness are now at work to take our guns. Does any serious Christian (not the Satanic stand-ins who infest so many pulpits today) not see that the day AFTER they take our guns, they’ll be back for our swords, too?
But, the Lord woke us, and He stirred us to action. He selected another man like Jehu to stand against Jezebel, and like the first time, the second also ended with Jezebel’s defeat.
Yet, the “religious” Children of Darkness, masquerading as church leaders, feigned shock and horror that a “sinner” like Trump could EVER expect God to use him. Naturally, such infernal infiltrators knew virtually nothing about the Old Testament.
Trump did a lot of things wrong, but I don’t believe he ever lusted after his friend’s wife, impregnated her, and then had her husband killed to cover up the deed.
Trump didn’t disembark from the Ark and immediately plant a vineyard, intending to get fursnickked at the first opportunity.
Real Christians recognized we’re all works-in-progress. Everyone, including the heroes in Biblical accounts. ALL fall short of the glory of God.
But, enough woke Christians FOUGHT the good fight and fired every ballot in our arsenal to put Trump over the top. But, one battle a war does not make. The Children of Darkness are as FURIOUS as the Prophets of Baal, and they will fight to the end to accomplish the Final Solution: the United States’ transformation into Socialist Cuba or Venezuela.
Now, we have to wake up, gear up, and go to war although we are already victorious, and have been since Calvary, but, if Satan can lull Christians into hypnotic states by getting us to care about all the wrong things, we allow evil to conquer us with ease.
The Founding Father of our nation extended His grace and allowed Jehu to ride again. It’s time for us all to put on the whole armor of God and reclaim our schools, our Walmarts, our streets, towns, and villages. Christians have the authority and the power to restore what the locusts have eaten. But, as our ancestors did when they came to these shores, we must stake the claim.
Wherever a Christian sets foot, he or she can (and must) claim that place in the name of Jesus Christ. The Children of Darkness have been claiming America in just that way for the past twenty-five years. While we slept, the Lilliputians bound us in the name of their gods.
Many Christians might tremble at the prospect of being laughed at or ridiculed for following the Bible. But, remember, the Prophets of Baal mocked Elijah–until fire fell from the sky and consumed the waterlogged sacrifice. The Children of Darkness cried out that day, shrieking to get their god’s attention. They cut themselves and did whatever they could, but no fire fell for them–and the people turned back to Jehovah. Meanwhile, an infuriated Jezebel unleashed the powers of Hell to pursue Elijah, and he RAN in fear.
Let us NOT run, nor hide from Jezebel, but stand on the promises of God. If we do that, Christians, the war you’re watching today will be over by November.
REMEMBER:
We are able to go up and take the country, and (re)possess the land from sea to shining sea; and, though giants tall be there our way to hinder, God will surely give the vic-tor-y.
