Like most things ‘believed’ by atheists and others, what they believe doesn’t make much sense. And many of their scientific blurbs are as scientific as the random thoughts of a drunk. This is especially so with babies.

When is a fetus a human being and therefore worthy of life and not abortion?

The answer is surprisingly simple – when the baby is conceived! But, those with fried brains tend to use ridiculous arguments, such as saying a fetus is not a viable human being. Eh? Only godless anti-intellectual people think that way. It is so obvious that a foetus IS a baby, and a baby IS a viable human being! The fact that a baby cannot fend for itself is not a genuine argument. Many animal babies cannot fend for themselves, so why not tear them apart limb-from-limb, too?

Christians know we begin life when we are conceived. But, guess what – so do real scientists!

“Science teaches without reservation that life begins at fertilization (conception). It is a scientific fact that an organism exists after fertilization that did not exist before. This new organism has its own DNA distinct from the mother and father, meaning that it is a unique person. As the embryo grows, it develops a heartbeat (22 days after fertilization), its own circulatory system, and its own organs. From fertilization, it is a new organism that is alive and will continue to grow and develop as long as nutrition is provided and its life is not ended through violence or illness. It is indisputably human, as it has human DNA.” (live Action News, 13th Jan., 2013)

Note that – the heart starts beating just 22 days after fertilization. This means a baby exists and is pumping blood around its minute body even before most women realize they are pregnant.

It gets even better. The conceived baby is ALWAYS the same type of creature as the parents. As with animals, the offspring are ALWAYS of the ‘same kind’, as we are told in Genesis. Thus, the product of human conception is… wait for it… an human being. Sorry to shock those atheists with limited mental capacity. The conception never produces something different, whether in humans or animals.

The male gamete joins with a female gamete or oocyte, and the combination produces a brand new being, a zygote, a highly specialized totipotent cell ensures we are each unique human beings. (‘The Developing Human: Clinically Oriented Embryology’, K L Moore, 2003).

Though Moore is a world-class and renowned embryologist, no doubt our clever atheists will deny his scientific facts. (It’s what these troubled souls do, regardless of looking stupid). He adds to this emphatic truth, in another book (‘Before we are Born’, 2008): “[The zygote], formed by the union of an oocyte and a sperm, is the beginning of a new human being.”

Thus, the conceived being is a real baby, a genuine human from the very start. Don’t like that particular scientist? Then try another two: R R O’Rahilly, F Muller, in ‘Human Embryology & Teratology’, 1996). They said, “Fertilization is an important landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new, genetically distinct human organism is thereby formed[.]” Sorry to be so repetitive folks, but that’s real science for you.

And guess what, another scientist says the same things. “Development begins with fertilization, the process by which the male gamete, the sperm, and the female gamete, the oocyte, unite to give rise to a zygote.” (T W Sadler, 2006). And in their third edition of their book, O’Rahilly and Muller say: “Although life is a continuous process, fertilization … is a critical landmark because, under ordinary circumstances, a new genetically distinct human organism is formed when the chromosomes of the male and female pronuclei blend in the oocyte.”

W J Larsen (1998) also says the same things in his textbook, and as with the other textbooks, it means medical students ALSO read and understand the same things. So, where on earth do others get their ignorant beliefs from? it is certainly not from real science. Forgive my impatience, but when people mess about with science just to maintain a godless rationale, I get rather annoyed. (Most of these pseudo-critics tend to be evolutionists – another non-science). They fly in the face of science.

Dr M M Mathews-Roth, Harvard Medical School, testified before the 1981 Subcommittee on Separation of Powers to Senate Judiciary Committee S-158. The Report said “It is incorrect to say that biological data cannot be decisive…It is scientifically correct to say that an individual human life begins at conception.” The good doctor only said what science itself tells us, and nothing has changed since his testimony thirty five years ago.

To cap it all, the man called the “father of modern genetics”, Dr Jerome Lejeune, told the same committee: “To accept the fact that after fertilization has taken place a new human has come into being is no longer a matter of taste or opinion … it is plain experimental evidence. Each individual has a very neat beginning, at conception.” The testimonies were given additional weight by others in the field.

Comment was made on the disastrous and scientifically/morally wrong Roe v Wade ruling: “either the justices were fed a backwoods biology or they were pretending ignorance about a scientific certainty.” (Prof. Eugene Diamond) and “To deny a truth [about when life begins] should not be made a basis for legalizing abortion.” In other words, Roe v Wade is based solely on immorality, deliberate scientific ignorance, and a political agenda.

Diamond is supported by many scientists and the official Senate Report reflects this: “Physicians, biologists, and other scientists agree that conception marks the beginning of the life of a human being – a being that is alive and is a member of the human species. There is overwhelming agreement on this point in countless medical, biological, and scientific writings.”

With this overwhelming proof (not just evidence) from a huge number of scientists, why do propagandists try to say otherwise? Why is Clinton playing to the abortion crowd? If every baby is an human being at conception, then every chosen abortion must be a murder. This is an inevitable conclusion. It also means that a woman cannot claim she can abort “because it is my body”… if the baby inside her is a separate person already, then she cannot choose to end its life, any more than a taxi-driver can drive over a cliff with a passenger, because “it is my taxi”..

It is about time politics was left out of this, and science took over. And this shows that the biblical definitions of life are genuine and more up to date than any anti-life protestor, whose scientific statements are plainly false. As I have often said, even if we remove all Christian arguments from the table, what we are left with is pure science, and true science always proves God to be right!
