“GET OUT of My Class And Leave America!” – College Professor’s Intro to Class Goes VIRAL
There is still hope for our universities. Not all is lost. Not yet, anyway.
As classes were beginning last semester, criminology professor Mike Adams warned his new students that his classroom would not be a safe space. He said he is tired of the “growing minority of students who believe they have a right to be free from being offended.”
The University of North Carolina-Wilmington professor is taking his stand on behalf of America. The old America. The true America.
Adams is fighting for a few minor things like the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence. And not a moment too soon. In what seems absolutely insane to consider, he is one of few remaining teachers who are protecting our traditional values.
Today’s campuses are filled with students who have lost their sense of reality, thanks entirely to professors and teachers who promote this nonsense. They are often referred to as snowflakes, and not in a kind way. Adams questioned their inconsistencies when it came to free speech. He cites how liberals are free to say whatever they want, but others are only free to say things that are embraced by liberals. In other words, there is no freedom in freedom of speech. We all have to speak the way Liberals want us to speak.
Not any more. Not in Adams’ classroom. “You have no right to be unoffended. You have a right to be offended with regularity. It is the price you pay for living in a free society. If you don’t understand that, you are confused and dangerously so.” Adams told them.
Adams was confronted by a student who said that his mention of God and the Creator was a violation of Separation of Church and State. His response was genius. “If any of you actually think that my decision to paraphrase the Declaration of Independence in the course syllabus is unconstitutional, then you suffer from severe intellectual hernia,” he told them.
And herein lies the problem on hundreds of American campuses. Students are being pulled away from our country’s founding principles. Our original documents are under severe attack as are our founding fathers. These schools are rewriting and revising history. Enough is enough.
Adams told students to shape up or get out of his class, out of his university, and out of his country. He said, “…get the hell out of the country. The ever-growing thinned-skinned minority you have joined is simply ruining life in this once-great nation. Please move to some place like Cuba where you can enjoy the company of communists” he challenged.
Wow! We need a thousand more Adams to step up right about now. President-Elect Trump has your back, as will the future Supreme Court. Thank God!
