Voters in San Francisco shocked the left-wing education establishment Tuesday by voting overwhelmingly to recall three pro-mask, pro-lockdown school board members.

Per Breitbart News:

Early results on Tuesday evening showed the recall leading by three-to-one margins in each race, and the result was later confirmed, dealing a swift verdict on “woke” ideology, left-wing coronavirus policies, and the intransigence of teachers’ unions about reopening schools during the pandemic.

The San Francisco Chronicle reported that San Francisco Unified School District (SFUSD) board member Alison Collins was recalled with 79% of the vote; Gabriela López was recalled with 75% of the vote; and Faauuga Molina was recalled with 72% of the vote.

Oddly enough, even left-wing San Francisco Mayor London Breed didn’t try to stand in the way of the recall effort.

Once it became clear that the voters had spoken in favor of recall, Breed posted a statement saying that the voters “delivered a clear message.”

“The voters of this city have delivered a clear message that the school board must focus on the essentials of delivering a well-run school system above all else,” Mayor London Breed said in a statement. “San Francisco is a city that believes in the value of big ideas, but those ideas must be built on the foundation of a government that does the essentials well.”

As it happens, the three doomed board members found little support. In fact, every single district in the city voted them out:

Indeed. If the GOP doesn’t grab ahold of this issue, they are the stupid party, indeed.
