The White House has announced that Joe Biden has “put a lid” on his day, meaning that there will be no public events, meetings, speeches, or other on the record activity Monday even as Israel gears up to respond to a horrid attack in which Americans were killed and others are likely still being held hostage by terrorists.
The news was reported by Fox News White House correspondent Jacqui Heinrich who jumped to her X account at 11 a.m. on Monday, even as the situation in Israel and Gaza continues to explode.
“The White House has called a lid before noon,” Heinrich wrote. “We do not expect to see or hear from President Biden for the rest of the day.”

The announcement comes after news broke that at least eleven Americans were killed by Palestinian terrorists during their incursion into Israel over the last few days.
While information is spotty and hard to pin down, it is likely that even more American citizens have been taken hostage by these savages.
Meanwhile, it has also been reported that some of the military weapons that Joe Biden abandoned to the Taliban in Afghanistan were removed from that country by Russian sepratists and put into the hands of the Palestinians to use for their attack over the weekend.
In a move that speaks to how out-of-touch Biden is, while all this was happening, Biden was happily munching on a tasty picnic lunch at a BBQ that the White House sponsored on Sunday.

While “calling a lid” on the day does not necessarily mean Biden won’t be doing anything other than napping today, it is still a disgrace that with all that is going on in this country and the world right now, the White House is going dark.
Many on social media are aghast that the White House has shut down its public schedule for the day at only 11 a.m. in the wake of Palestinian forces coursing through Israel slaughtering and raping civilians.
“What is wrong with this guy???” conservative activist Phil Kerpen wrote.

Radio talk show giant Mark Levin also blasted Biden, saying, “Biden has ‘called a lid’ for the rest of the day, meaning no public or press events. This is a disgusting disgrace. And, yet again, our enemies around the world take notice.”

Levin is right, of course. The world is taking note that the United States is not taking a leadership role in this crisis today. Indeed, it seems likely that Joe Biden’s $6 billion gift to the Iranians, his precipitous withdrawal from Afghanistan, his inactivity in the face of Chinese encroachment all across the Pacific theater, Africa, and South America, and his retreat from leading in the war on terror is being noticed by all our enemies.
While the White House hides behind closed doors, Israel has announced a “complete siege” on Gaza and finally seems prepared to wipe out Hamas and the so-called Palestinian government, root and branch.
The world is experiencing some of its most volatile times in the last decade, and Joe Biden and his White House are infuriatingly stepping off the international stage at this crucial moment, undermining not just his own administration but causing even more damage to America’s credibility.
