Even though the CDC has relaxed national masking recommendations, the Democrat-run Washington D.C. school system announced that it would not stop forcing kids to wear the useless masks.
On Friday, the CDC quietly changed its rules allowing most Americans to stop wearing masks indoors and outdoors, saying that up to 70 percent of Americans now live in areas where masks are not as necessary.
Despite the changes, though, the D.C. schools won’t end its school mandates.
“Students, staff and visitors will no longer be required to wear a mask when outdoors at our schools, effective immediately. Masks will continue to be required for all students, staff, and visitors while indoors,” the DCPS March 1 announcement reads.
According to the CDC, Washington D.C. and surrounding areas of Maryland are in the agency’s “green” zone, meaning that the area is in a low-risk region.
Once again, we see that Democrats really don’t care about “science,” not even from the left-wing agencies they control (which also ignore actual science).
We have just spent two years with leftists telling us that the CDC is the leading agency to tell us how to live our lives. But now that the CDC has relaxed the left’s mask religion, suddenly even the CDC needs to be ignored to protect the left’s religious beliefs.
