What you say? Yes read on… You will find that I am right.

The democrats all over this country are destroying monuments and statues to their heroes not only from the War Between the States (Civil War), but before.

The statue to Roger B Taney.  Roger Taney as Chief Justice of the United States Supreme Court wrote in a decision against Dred Scott that slavery was legal and the federal government has no power to regulate slavery in the federal territories. The decision was written in 1857 four years before the Civil War.  He was appointed by a Democratic President. His statue has been removed recently by the State of Maryland from where it had been erected in 1872. Yes, the statue had been in place for One Hundred and Forty Five Years without anyone questioning it.

Numerous statues to Confederate War Dead and Civil War Confederate heroes have been recently removed as well. The history of the War Between the States is a is a low point in our history.  But my take on it is that the war was started by the democratic party!!!

During the Civil War, many people distinguished themselves both for the North (Union) and the South (Confederacy). Some of those fighting on the side of the south included Jefferson Davis (President of the Confederate States of America), General Robert E. Lee (Famous General), John Hunt Morgan (Confederate General),  John C. Breckenridge (Vice President of the United States, Confederate Secretary of War), Lt General Stonewall Jackson (Confederate General).  These are only the start.  These are but a few of the statues and monuments already being removed.  Numerous other monuments and statues are being removed by democrats and democratic organizations.

The statues and monuments have been erected to the Heroes of the Democratic Party. Why are they now turning on their roots?  Let me explain a little…

The Civil war was started shortly after President Abraham Lincoln took office. President Lincoln’s inauguration was on March 4th 1861.  President Lincoln ran on a platform of freeing the slaves.  The democratic party of course opposed this vehemently and took things to a new level just a month and a few days later.  Actually, 39 days later.  On April 12, 1861, the democratic party declared war against the United States of America.  The issue of course was slavery.  The democrats wanted to keep slavery and the Republicans wanted to abolish it.  April 12, 1861 is the day the civil war started in order to free the slaves.  Basically it was the democrats starting the war since the Republican Party had only won their first Presidential election a few months before.  Yes Abraham Lincoln was the First Republican President elected in the United States.  And to add insult to injury, the Republican Part also gained a majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate. President Lincoln, long considered one of the best Presidents was the very first Republican President.

The Thirteenth Amendment to the Constitution was first debated in the United States Senate in march 31,1864. Passed by the Senate on April 4, 1864.  It was passed by the House of Representatives on Jan 31, 1865.  It states:  “Neither slavery nor involuntary servitude, except as a punishment for crime whereof the party shall have been duly convicted, shall exist within the United States, or any place subject to their jurisdiction.”

Now the dates may not mean anything. Except President Lincoln was assassinated on April 15 1865 and the Civil War ended on May 9 1865.  That would indicate that the Democratic War Heroes were still fighting the losing battle to keep slavery even after the Thirteenth Amendment to the United States Constitution was ratified by the 75 percent of the states as required by the Constitution!

We cannot change history, but we can learn from it. Now, here we are 152 years later and the democratic party has declared war on another Constitutionally Elected President of the United States of America.  President Donald Trump is the 19th Republican President. When will they learn?

Any thoughts from my friends?
