The one anti-Trump trope that the left and their friends in the media like to repeat most is that the President is racist and Islamaphobic.

But most Americans know better, don’t we?

We’ve been watching Trump for years, as an entertainer, mogul, and celebrity personality. We know that he’s dated all manner of women (of various ethnic backgrounds). We know that he’s shared investments, businesses, and stages with all manner of businessmen (of various ethnic backgrounds). And know that he’s been friends with many of the most popular celebrities of the last half-century – we’ve seen them hugging, shaking hands, and laughing together!

The more pernicious lie is that the President is Islamaphobic. This lie is more difficult to dispel because the President has had less public dealings with the practitioners of Islam. However, he does have many businesses in the Muslim world. He has spent millions engaging in business with Muslim people, and he employs many Muslims in his ventures around the world and as President of the United States.

However, there’s more. Arguably the President’s best foreign policy work has taken place in the Muslim world. (He’s also done well with Russia, China, and North Korea.) The President has single-handedly stabilized the Middle East and brought balance to a region that was burning on the day he took office. Obama’s disastrous policies had the region in turmoil, but President Trump has brought unity to much of the Middle East and the region has rallied around him and set itself against Syria, and Iran.

Moreover, as we are about to learn… the President AND the GOP are “BELOVED” in much of the Muslim world. Hear it for yourself:

Here’s what Dr. Ahmed had to say:

“One thing the viewers should know, this president and this administration is often castigated as Islamophobic, but I move in the Muslim world, in Egypt, in Oman, in Jordan, in Iraqi Kurdistan, where this president is beloved.

This president and the Republican Party, going back to George Bush, is very dearly held.

Today is the anniversary of Halabja, the massacre of 180,000 Kurds at the hands of Saddam Hussein. That only changed because of a Republican president. So it is very important not to lose so much perspective that we start believing our entire government is Islamophobic. That is not the case.”

Sadly, CNN cut her off and ended the segment as soon as she finished defending President Trump.

The anti-extremist, anti-terror Imam Tawhidi was shocked (not really) that CNN would cut off a “a Muslim woman of colour” simply for defending the President.
