And, once again, a “hate crime” report turns out to be a hoax, this time in Gilroy, California, where leftists claimed a “noose” was found hanging outisde an office building.

Last week, the media began tittering about a “noose” found hanging in a parking lot of Kaiser hospital in Gilroy, California. At the time, Kaiser Permanente spokesman Karl Sonkin told the media that this “noose” was hanging from a tree.

Naturally, everyone began screeching that it was a “hate crime.”

“This alarming discovery caused shock, disgust, pain, and anguish for our staff and physicians in Gilroy and throughout Northern California,” the hospital said in a statement. “A hangman’s noose is a painful and triggering symbol of the history of violence against African Americans in the United States. Its sight stirs outrage due to bigotry and continues to be a threatening symbol of hatred meant to inflict pain.”

And, like clockwork, the story turned out to be total bull squat.

Once the local police got involved, they reported that it was not any sort of “noose.”

“There is no evidence to suggest that it was placed there with any ill intent,” police said, according to KRON.

It turned out that surveillance video showed that the rope was put on the tree by a lawncare worker who was using it the help him climb the tree to prune branches. And he just left it there when he was done.

“While this incident was determined not to be a hate crime, it is important to recognize the potential impact that such a symbol can have on our community,” police pointlessly added. “Police will continue to monitor the area and encourage anyone who observes suspicious activity to report it to the authorities.”

Blah, blah, blah.

Once again, no hate crime.

Aren’t you tired of your hoaxes yet, liberals?
