Once again showing what sort of lunatics are running California into the ground, a new bill introduced in Sacramento would allow police departments to hire illegal aliens to be cops.
You read that right, America. California Democrats want to allow people who are already criminals just being here to become cops who have the power to arrest and even shoot the rest of us!
How much more of a parody of themselves can Democrats become?
More to the point, how much more soft on crime and anti-American can they get?
District 9 Democrat Senator Nancy Skinner recently introduced Senate Bill 960 which would allow for non-United States citizens, including illegal aliens, to work in law enforcement in California.
California law currently “requires peace officers in this state to meet specified minimum standards, including, among other requirements, being at least 18 years of age, being of good moral character, as determined by a thorough background investigation, and being either a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident who is eligible for and has applied for citizenship.”
Skinner wants to remove the provision requiring police officers to be a citizen of the United States or a permanent resident who is eligible for and has applied for U.S. citizenship.

The bill would also delete the requirement that members of the California Highway Patrol (CHiPs) must be legal citizens.
Skinner tried to claim that her bill only allows people with green cards or other legal citizenship papers would be allowed to become police officers. But Townhall.com’s Spencer Brown noted that “neither the Legislative Counsel’s Digest accompanying the bill on the California Legislature’s website nor the proposed wording explicitly prohibits illegal immigrants.”
Democrats really do want to utter erase the United States of America.
