Thanks to Joe Biden, American families are being bled dry at the grocery store with prices having soared higher than they have in 43 years.
The Consumer Price Index for food purchased for consumption at home rose 1.4 percent over May, according to reports.
“Compared with a year ago, grocery store prices are up 11.9 percent, the fastest pace of inflation since 1979,” Breitbart reported.
Breitbart added:
Prices of cereals and bakery products jumped 11.6 percent. Prices of meats, poultry, fish, and eggs were up 14.6 percent. Dairy product prices were up 11.8 percent. Fruits and vegetable prices were up 8.6 percent.
This is where Democrats and Biden have put us.
Just for a few examples here in the Chicagoland area… two months ago, eggs at Walmart were $5 for a box of 30. Now they are $14.00. Those pre-cooked and pre-packaged ribs were $9.99 two months ago. Now the same product is $19.99. The cheap frozen pizzas were four for $10. Now they are three for $9.
This is what Biden is doing, folks.
