Ben & Jerry’s ice cream is suing its owner to be allowed to maintain its anti-Jew hate campaign in the Palestinian territory.
Last year, the extremist let-wing ice cream company announced that it was going to stop selling its ice cream in Israel because the company despises Israel and supports the terrorists in so-called “Palestine” — a country that doesn’t even exist.
But the ice cream company’s parent company, Unilever, ultimately countermanded the boycott of Israel and told Ben & Jerry’s that they must sell in Israel.
Well, now Ben & Jerry’s has decided that its hate for Israel is more important legal responsibilities to its owner. So, now it is suing.
Per CNN Business:
The Vermont-based ice cream maker filed a complaint Tuesday in the US District Court in New York, where it sought an injunction against Unilever (UL) “to protect the brand and social integrity Ben & Jerry’s has spent decades building.”
Ben & Jerry’s has been doing business in Israel since 1987, but in recent years it had come under pressure for selling in West Bank settlements, considered illegal under international law. In July 2021, it announced it would stop selling in the West Bank altogether.
That triggered a dispute with its longtime distributor in Israel, American Quality Products (AQP), which sued Ben & Jerry’s and Unilever in March, arguing that they were “unlawfully terminating its 34-year business relationship in order to boycott Israel.”
Unilever said that they would continue selling the ice cream, though, and now Ben & Jerry’s is suing so it can keep its anti-Jew policies going.
This is how much liberals hate Israel.
