Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall
His medical keepers and guards of the day
Rescued poor Humpty
And whisked him away
The press had been told not to film the event
So they stayed behind
And off humpty went
The truth of the fall might never be known
But for a video
Made with a phone
So they said he was hot, they said he was sick
They said he was actually
Sound as a brick
The story got jumbled in all the confusion
A garbled attempt
To preserve an illusion
The press speculated far into the night
That Humpty was simply
Allergic to height
Alas for the media women and men
They’ll never put Humpty
Together again
