May I say publicly what huge numbers of people might be thinking of late: If you are on the Ultra Leftwing of the political, economic, and social spectra, you are by default anti-American and pro-Communist/Fascist/Socialist.
You are anti-family, anti-normal. You hate baseball, hot dogs, apple pie and Chevrolet. You loathe the Constitution. You despise people that live their lives with abiding faith in the living God of Israel–the God you refuse to acknowledge.
Paul’s letter to the Romans almost nineteen hundred years ago describes the post-modern Left to a tee:
“And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a debased mind, to do those things which are not fitting; being filled with all unrighteousness, sexual immorality, wickedness, covetousness, maliciousness; full of envy, murder, strife, deceit, evil-mindedness; they are whisperers, backbiters, haters of God, violent, proud, boasters, inventors of evil things, disobedient to parents, undiscerning, untrustworthy, unloving, unforgiving, unmerciful; who, knowing the righteous judgment of God, that those who practice such things are deserving of death, not only do the same but also approve of those who practice them.” (Romans 1:28-32)
He didn’t know it then, but Paul described the modern Leftocrats and their useful campus idiots.
So, Americans who are patriotic, and proud to be American, we weathered the storm and now have a President who isn’t a Muslim and was born in this country. He’s not anti-American, abnormal, absurd, or ridiculous no matter what those who are think.
God’s message has always been the same: Repent (change your minds) and come out of Babylon. Have nothing to do with Leftists. Don’t visit their stores, don’t subsidize their coffee houses, don’t watch silly people take a knee during the national anthem so they can be praised by the inane.
By and large, this has been occurring; as if an “invisible hand” stirs not only the markets but the economic decisions of tens of millions of Americans.
ESPN now hangs like an albatross around Disney’s neck. The far leftwing “sports” network isn’t just bleeding but hemorrhaging green as literally millions of Americans cut the cable and satellite cord that forms much of ESPN’s revenue stream. Not only are we sick of being preached to by know-nothing leftists, we’re done paying for the privilege. We’re adapting to new ways of watching programs we want to watch, not the fare the networks wish to force feed us like gulag gruel.
We get to choose what news sites we visit, what channels we allow into our homes. We stopped paying attention to CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NBC and other far leftwing networks that preach hate against all things normal and uplifting.
We stopped shopping at Target, although we ignored the Left’s boycott of Chick Fil-a. We, in numbers too great to ignore, decided Starbucks wasn’t all that important to our day-to-day lives, and we stopped buying their over-priced coffee.
And, believe me, it’s having an effect of giant proportions. The Ultra Leftocrats truly believed their candidate would now be shuffling through the White House and signing executive orders from the newly-installed hospital bed in the Oval Office. Because the prophets of the Most High turned out to be right all along—no matter what people on “our” side thought, no matter what their side thought, Donald J. Trump is the elected president who now presides over a nation re-transformed to one of real hope and actual change.
God has given us a second chance to thrive, but please remember the words of John Adams: “Our Constitution is written for a moral and religious people. It is wholly inadequate to the government of any other.”
For at least a century, the Ultra Left, anti-American “progressives” have done all they can short of armed revolution to turn Americans into a different kind of people.
They nearly succeeded, but they—even now—fail to recognize Whom they oppose or how they’ve failed utterly in transforming America. The Progressive Coup against civilization and personal freedom has failed, and the nations that attempted to impose their madness on neighboring countries will soon come to naught.
Three thousand years ago, the Psalmist wrote (Ps.10) in part:
In his arrogance the wicked man hunts down the weak,
who are caught in the schemes he devises.
3 He boasts about the cravings of his heart;
he blesses the greedy and reviles the Lord.
4 In his pride the wicked man does not seek him;
in all his thoughts there is no room for God.
5 His ways are always prosperous;
your laws are rejected by[b] him;
he sneers at all his enemies.
6 He says to himself, “Nothing will ever shake me.”
He swears, “No one will ever do me harm.”
7 His mouth is full of lies and threats;
trouble and evil are under his tongue.
8 He lies in wait near the villages;
from ambush he murders the innocent.
His eyes watch in secret for his victims;
9 like a lion in cover he lies in wait.
He lies in wait to catch the helpless;
he catches the helpless and drags them off in his net.
10 His victims are crushed, they collapse;
they fall under his strength.
11 He says to himself, “God will never notice;
he covers his face and never sees.”
12 Arise, Lord! Lift up your hand, O God.
Do not forget the helpless.
13 Why does the wicked man revile God?
Why does he say to himself,
“He won’t call me to account”?
14 But you, God, see the trouble of the afflicted;
you consider their grief and take it in hand.
The victims commit themselves to you;
you are the helper of the fatherless.
15 Break the arm of the wicked man;
call the evildoer to account for his wickedness
that would not otherwise be found out.
16 The Lord is King for ever and ever;
the nations will perish from his land.
So, expect the Norks and the Chinese Communists to fall, just as did the USSR and East European regimes. All it takes is one person to stand up and say, “I’m mad as hell, and I’m not taking it anymore.”
That man today is our 45th President of the United States. He needs and deserves our support against all enemies, foreign, but especially domestic. The Ultra Left’s march through the institutions must be reversed and their progressively evil vision crushed. Selah.
