Titanic Trump has steered himself into a massive iceberg and is going down. Many grassroot activists and conservatives are asking for help to speed up this process.

This past week Trump has gone from error to massive error. What began as a criticism of gold star parents Kheiger and Ghaza Khan escalated into a stubborn refusal to acknowledge the right to parental grief.  In doing this Trump greatly offended over 1/3 of his remaining base, and has shown through recent polls he is giving Hillary Clinton substantial leads in states he had controlled.  Clinton this week is reported to have a 13 point lead in some polls.  Despite this, Trump refuses to take on his opponent Clinton in any way, focusing instead on members of the Republican party.

Trump said this week he will not support Speaker Paul Ryan’s re-election campaign or support Senator John McCain’s re-election efforts, despite their support for his Presidential bid.  This is the result of Trump’s perception of criticism leveled against him by Ryan and McCain, even when the criticism is meant to help, guide and correct.  In addition to political mayhem, he has disclosed information from classified intelligence briefings to the public, has openly lied (according to members of his own campaign staff) about seeing intelligence video filmed by the country of Iran of the US delivering tons of money to that country.  Additionally, he is on a daily basis losing remaining donor support, as donors renege on pledges and new donors cannot be found.  Trump is reported to have asked intelligence officers why he cannot as President use nuclear weapons, and asked this question repeatedly.  It is reported he would like to use nuclear weapons on ISIS.

All this comes amid reports his staff cannot control his obsessive tweeting.  Both well respected representatives from the left and right have publicly questioned Trump’s psychological stability. According to unnamed members of his campaign staff Trump has become a public relations nightmare.  This week there were many reports of the Republican National Committee recognizing they made a grave error in selecting Trump, and are hoping he will step down.

And what would happen if Trump does step down?  According to Rule 9(a) of the GOP Rules, “The Republican National Committee is hereby authorized and empowered to fill any and all vacancies, which may occur by reason of death, declination, or otherwise of the Republican candidate for President of the United States, or the Republican candidate for Vice President of the United States as nominated by the national convention, or the Republican National Committee, may reconvene the national convention for the purpose of filing any such vacancies,” and Rule 9(b),”In voting under this Rule, the Republican National Committee members representing any state shall be entitled to cast the same number of votes as said state was entitled to cast at the national convention.”

What grassroot activists and conservatives are recommending is for anyone desiring the resignation of Donald Trump from the Presidential race to do is to call 202-863-8743.  It is suggested you communicate that you would like a national convention to be reconvened according to GOP rules and the states to vote and nominate a new candidate for President.
