Voting for Romney is a Supreme decision

I keep hearing folks express their reservations to me about voting for Mitt Romney.  I’ve heard them say he isn’t conservative enough, so rather than vote for a moderate, they will use their vote to make a statement.  Some say they will write in Ron Paul, others will vote for Gary Johnson or even Virgil Goode.  Okay, I respect their principals and perhaps in a normal election I would agree with them.  November 2012 is not just another election.  The future of our country is in jeopardy. 

Please allow me to explain.

There are many threats to America if Obama is reelected, the gravest threat to America’s Republic is the supreme power of judges over political, social, and economic policy.  This reality is largely ignored, but we must take this seriously.  Many acknowledge that the most powerful branch of our government isn’t the Executive (President) or Legislative (Congress), it is the Judicial (Supreme Court).  They determine what the laws mean and their Constitutionality.  We recently learned that the Supreme Court has the ability to permit even the most blatantly Unconstitutional law if it decides to (remember the Obamacare decision?).  A Supreme Court decision can either validate or invalidate any law in America, even the Constitution.  The next president will probably appoint at least 4 new Justices over next few years and dozens of other life time appointed Federal judges.  These judges have the duty to uphold the Constitution, yet if they choose, with the swing of their gavel can effectively end 225 years of American freedom and self-governance.

Supreme Court Justice Scalia is 78, Justice Kennedy is 78, Justice Breyer is 76 and Justice Ginsburg is 81. In addition, Justice Ginsburg has Pancreatic Cancer. Justice Stephens has already said he would retire and is just waiting to see if Obama will be reelected.

Before you vote in November, please think.  You must realize that a vote for any other conservative candidate is a vote for Obama.  The Left is firmly united behind Obama, their vote will not be split.  We already know from his other two Supreme Court appointments, Elena Kagan and Sonia Sotomayor are both radical leftist activist judges.  If Obama gets to appoint possibly four more Justices, we would have a Supreme Court capable of transforming America into Obama’s Socialist Utopian vision, and they could be in place for 50 years.  America would truly never be the same.

Please do not waste your vote on a 3rd party candidate.  Think long and hard about the big picture.  Freedom is never more than one generation from extinction.  Vote for Romney/Ryan 2012.
