Our Government: Equality and Elitism; pluralism at its best!

Our Government: Equality and Elitism; pluralism at its best!

From the lips of the President of the United States, we are constantly hearing, all too often, about how “unfair it is for the rich to keep their money.” He is saying the wealthy MUST pay more to the government so they can, in turn, give the money to those who are less fortunate. This sounds really noble in a weird way, does it not?

I have been wondering if this is really true, or, are there other reasons the Liberals, Progressives and Communists want all of our money? Of course, this is besides their desire for Total Power over the Citizens of the United States, or is it? What does the government really want from us?

President Obama says he wants “everyone to be rich” and to have “equality for all;” really? Working in conjunction with Congress, the ACTIONS of our Congress are proving them to be “elitists.” Read the following and then contemplate the ‘true meaning of what you are being told.’

No one has been able to effectively explain why men and women who serve in the United States Military for 20 years, who are risking their lives protecting our freedom, only get 50% of their pay when they retire from the military.

Did you realize that our elected Congress officials, who are ONLY politicians, who hold their political positions in the safety and confines of the US Capital, who are protected by our military men and women, receive their FULL PAY when they retire; even after serving only one term in that position?

Does this sound like “those who serve (for our government) are treated ‘equally’ to you?”
This sounds a lot like “special treatment” of one class of folks. Do our elected officials actually know what being “treated equally” means?

Fox News Agency recently reported ‘they learned from staffers, family members of Congress are exempt from paying back student loans.’ In the most recent budget ‘deal’ from Congress, was there not an issue for reducing the amount of student loans being given out? What if they just collected the money back from Congressional family members?

So, why not also exempt all those people who have served in the military, who actually risked their lives for our freedom? Why not give them a sweet deal of not paying back their student loan like the family members of Congress can? Again, this sounds like special treatment of a selected few.

Did you also know our elected officials in Congress specifically exempt themselves from many of the laws they themselves have passed? Members of the United States Congress are exempt from any fear of prosecution for sexual harassment while ordinary citizens must live under those laws. In addition, Congress has exempted themselves from Obama’s Healthcare Reform; in all of its forms.

Somehow, this does not seem like equality and fairness for everyone. The question is “Do we have a social class of people that are elitists, those who are above the law of the land, do we have those who are treated better than ordinary citizens and do we have those who are exempt to the burdens they place on everyday citizen?” Do we? Do you support this?

This elitism mentality is applied to ALL US Government elected official no matter if they are Democratic, Republican, Independent, or anything else.  They are making and passing LAWS that are self-serving and they are giving themselves elitist treatment; they are doing this using OUR MONEY!

For far too long we have been complacent about these types of deals and these types of workings made by Congress. Did you have any idea members of Congress could retire with their same pay only after one term, or be totally exempt from all aspects of Obamacare?

What we, AMERICAN CITIZENS, must do is UNITE and DEMAND a 28th Amendment to the United States Constitution that states:

Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to United States Senators and/or to Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the United States Senators and/or Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States.

Right now, 35 States have filed lawsuits against the Federal Government; governors of 35 states have filed these lawsuits, against our Federal Government, for imposing unlawful burdens upon them.

We need just 3 more states to join and they could convene a Constitutional Convention and create a 28thAmendment to the United States Constitution that PROHIBITS elitism!

If we, the American Citizen, do not stop this PLURALISM and stand up for REAL EQUAL TREATMENT, then we are doomed to forever live in a cultural subclass.

What our elected officials in Washington have done smacks a lot like Socialism to me.
