What's at the bottom of the fiscal cliff?

These “fiscal cliff” talks are really starting to annoy me.  Anyone with a brain knows that it’s not lack of taxation that caused this problem, it is the spending.  I’m sick and tired of forcing my family to live within its means so that I can be taxed more to pay for a government that refuses to do the same.  That’s not how responsible American people live, if we can’t afford it we don’t spend it. I keep hearing folks express their reservations to me about voting for Mitt Romney.  I’ve heard them say he isn’t conservative enough, so rather than vote for a moderate, they will use their vote to make a statement.  Some say they will write in Ron Paul, others will vote for Gary Johnson or even Virgil Goode.  Okay, I respect their principals and perhaps in a normal election I would agree with them.  November 2012 is not just another election.  The future of our country is in…

I certainly hope that you watched the entire first Presidential Debate on the economy, if you didn’t you should watch it now.  Almost immediately after the debate, the pundits were weighing in and spinning the debate in the direction they leaned.  I don’t care what on-line polls say, or what hacks like James Carville or Michael Moore think.  Even though most pollsters and  commentators say Romney won the debate, that’s not what’s important either.  Most folks watch these…
