I agree with a previous blogger...why isn't John Thumes on the list?  Democrats fear him for many reasons!  I also approve of Bobby Jindal, Mike Pence, and Jim Demint.

As an Alaskan living in the capital city, I had plenty of opportunity to witness Sarah Palin's governing tactics. Although I voted for her, I quickly became disenchanted by her devisiveness. As one Alaskan put it, "Sarah needs to learn that she doesn't need to attack every chiwawa that bites her!" Don't get me wrong; I think she is very good at what she's doing now--inspiring  people. But, she doesn't appear to enjoy the governing aspect of politics.

I don't agree, Ron Paul is the only Congressman that consistently voted according to our Constitution and is instrumental in auditing the FED, which needs to go. That's where our worst problems stem from.

There are some very good canadates on the list ,but I feel the one with the best chance of winning over obama would be Huckabee

Please allow us to pick more than one on these Republican surveys. Thank you!

Ron Paul is my choice. This is one congressman that has consistently voted according to our prized constitution. Without our return to the CONSTITUTION our country will be doomed.

Sera Palin would steer this country to a great economy and make the government smaller and the people proud to be Americans again. The Democrats FEAR her and her policy's. I have been fallowing the news of our country for sixty years and know the ways how the polititiens and socialist's try to distroy this country. Most people know very little what the democrats are doing but every thing what their basket ball teams. I see this every where Igo. It's a shame. Wake up AMERICA!!

There is no question  "Chris Christie"   is the Man.  He has solid ideas to get back to our conservative roots, an unflapable style, and a background to get the job done.   Christie was the  first Republican to win a statewide election in New Jersey in 12 years and in addition to being the  Governer he also served as a US Attorney for NJ.   He doesn't pull punches either; during his time as US Attorney, his office won convictions or guilty pleas from 130 public officials, both Republican and Democratic, on the state, county and local levels without losing a single case.  Thats the kind of record we need in a President.  Not some goof ball community organizer.

Though it usually is not worth much, I believe the most qualified person, the person with the best resume, is Mitch Daniels.

Mike Pence’s my choice, he has an outstanding resume, was a president of the Indiana Policy Review Commission, a think-tank in Fort Wayne Indiana, has represented his district since 2000, was a House Republican Conference Chairman. He’s also spoken at the Heritage Foundation & Hillsdale College. At Hillsdale, on September last year Pence delivered a speech on the presidency where he outlines the executive office’s role in relations to the Constitution, he has an in-depth understanding of this relationship.

Sarah Palin. Unlike most other potential candidates (except for George Romney), she has had some 20 years of solid government & business experience. She proved. herself as a City Councilman, then Mayor, followed by being in the Legislature, & finally, Governor of Alaska. She attled the powerful oil interests - & won. At the same time, she & her husband have run a successful fishing ebterprise. She is well rounded also as a hunter, and excellent cook & homemaker.

I see her as the next Margaret Thatcher. She expresses herself well & is not afraid to stand her ground when she knows she is right. She is also a strong Constitutionalist & believes in a sound fiscal policy
