Lisa.

Not sure where you have been... But Ron Paul has introduced plenty. AND...he is the only one to come up with a bill to audit the FED. Something which has never been done...ever. Sure, they do little internal audit which is NOT a real audit. Some people think that the FED is some forth branch of government or something. It's not. It is not in the constitution, which is quite clear in that only congress shall have the power to "coin" money. I believe that if Ron and Rand get their full audit of the FED, and the American people see what a scam has been run on us...the people will demand that congress End The FED private banking system, and go back to allowing congress to control our economy like it should accoring to the constitution.

As far as "pork" goes...our system has got so bad that "pork" is the only way any representative can bring "some" of the tax payer's dollar's back to the tax payer...ever. So don't even go there.

You see. This is axactly what I am talking about.

Rick Perry? NOT! Now there is a RINO if ever one walked the earth. Michele Bachmann has a lot of energy, and I believe she would fit quite well into a Ron Paul administration. I like her a lot.

I would love to see a Rick Perry/ Michele Bachmann ticket in 2012.

Note to Brian Banks (below): Gen. Patraeus is a Bilderberger. Check out the member lists of the Bilderbergers, Trilateral Commission and CFR on:  www.newworldorderinfo.com. This is a very educational website!

I'm good for Ron Paul - he's the only one I trust to be a true American patriot.

For all of you Ron Paul fans you should know he isn't all that.  For all of his years in congress the only bills he has ever submitted to be passed had to with making pot legal.  Also as far as not spending lots that a big joke.  He is one of the top spenders out there.  What he does is attach all kinds  of pork projects for spending bills and then he votes NO on them.  That way he can say he doesn't vote for the spending bills but he can bring goodies home for his constituents.

Jan Brewer? Hmmm? Not quite what I would consider presidential material. But surely could hold a position in a Ron Paul administration...no doubt. Gingrich I just can't come to terms with enough to trust the guy. A little too establishmental under the surface. Palin has PR-ness, but still a not-so-sure on her real position concerning many things. A lot of people like her, and she says some great off-the-cuff stuff. But does she mean everything she says? Ron Paul is not the greatest speaker on the floor, but he has over thirty year's worth of proven constitutional conviction to back up what he says. His record speaks for it's self. Not many with that kind of a history. And very few that will stick to their guns and say what they mean no matter how much it may go against the grain with what the estblishment team is being coached to believe and perpetuate as Ron is so good at doing. I wish more people would just pay attention to what the man says, rather than what the media reports he is saying.

Herta,

Early primaries 2008 were proportional representation then they moved into 'winner take all'.

Ron Paul would  win many more delegates to take to the convention if all state had proportional representation 2012.

Ron Paul oppose starting wars as we did with Iraq. Mnay running like Palin back war with Iran or are necons soft.

Meddlin' in nation building and long occupations is not a republic. We need be an example not an occupier. No way can we balance a budget with war costs so high.

Michael Lawler, you are so right. Ron Paul is the only one I would trust not to get corrupted.
Comment by Celador2 on January 29, 2011 at 8:24pm

If the  2012convention was in deadlock for some reason which candidate might be a darkhorse compromise?

What do posters think of Jan Brewer? Does she have what it takes to be president based on a few years as gov AZ?

i understand her outrage and anger over no border security but fear a police state if states require we carry papers at all times in case we are stopped by cops.

But Jan set the ball rolling and border security is now a major issue.

Michael Lawler.

John Kasich is proving to be a flip-flopper here in Ohio. Appointing anti-gun people to his administration and going back on his word not to turn over the Ohio turnpike to foreign interest's. I saw this coming.

Still put my money and vote behind Ron Paul. Judge Napolitano WOULD be a close second. Do you homework folks. Action's speak louder than words because talk is cheap.

To Jasper Merrill. I do not agree with Huckabee being any good. He is also a Neocon like so many others.

In answer to Celador2 I fully agree, Ron Paul is the only one that can bring Sanity to this country. We have lost too many lives in wars that did nothing for us except fill the pockets of the corrupt people in our country. It is time to stop this fiat government and it is time NOW.

Bobby Jindal is very bright and I feel he would give us (USA) his very best.

Ron Paul would reduce debt and keep it reduced by bringing troops home from self appointed cop of the world. Long occupations cost and break teh backs of taxpayers!

Republic not an Empire.

What a sad list this is...Pailin has been destroyed by the media.  Huckabee is a populist huckster, and anyone supporting him should check into a crital thinking class.  Gingrich is fantastic, but also media-destroyed.

Where's Michele Bachmann?  What about that enthusiastic and telegenic John Kasich?  All I know is if we get Hucksterabee or Romney as our candidate, we're doomed, even if he wins.

Comment by ladyswiss on January 29, 2011 at 11:52am
Why  isn't John Thune's name on the list?  He would be great.
Comment by Mark Bartok on January 29, 2011 at 11:40am

Ron Paul  and Jim De Mint are the only honest Constitutional candidates on your list!

Newt Gingrich = Member of the Globalist CFR, Sarah Palin= Under the wing of Major Globalist and Bilderberg member Henry Kissinger, Rick Perry= Member of the Globalist Bilderberg Club, Mitt Romney Globalist member of the CFR - God only knows about the others, Mike Huckabee wants to hand in all the citizens firearms so he has rolled over and succumbed to the Globalists -I would not vote for any of the others without checking their back grounds out with a microscope! Of which I will do!

I would certainly appreciate Judge Napolitano, who appears on the Fox Network Television show, seems very Constitutional and honest - to run for President 2012!

V for Victory

You are not alone!

End Globalism!

So when do we get to see the result's anyway???
Comment by Tumbleweed Steve on January 28, 2011 at 10:49pm
There is only one true conservative that has always voted in line with the constitution on that list. And that is Ron Paul.  If you pick anyone else...you're still buying the lie. Sorry....
Comment by Jasper Merrell on January 28, 2011 at 10:35pm
Mike Huckabee had a plan when he ran in 08, has the experience, and I think the ability to get things done. He might not be the best, but I think would make a good President...he should have then (08) and I think now, pick Alan Keyes to run with him. Huckabee/Keyes 2012
