Liberals and the truly uninformed believe that if we only just ban guns, then the people who die by gunshots will be ended, but the truth is in the actual numbers. Guns used 2.5 million times a year in self-defense. Law-abiding citizens use guns to defend themselves against criminals as many as 2.5 million times every year — or about 6,850 times a day. Yes, those numbers are correct. Criminologists of all political persuasions, in over a dozen studies, estimate that firearms are used for protection against criminals several hundred thousand to 2.5 million times per year, often without a shot fired. This is a staggering statistic, but it’s not one you are likely to hear on the evening news.
So why do the liberals, and the uninformed run toward the light, and scream ban guns every time there is a killing that is covered nationally? It is the agenda of the Liberal Party to take guns away from the civilians. We see this type of agenda in Marxism, Nazism, and Communism. This guarantees that the government has no worries when it comes to taking away everything you own because you willingly gave up your right that was given by the Constitution to guns to protect yourself, your home, and your family.
Statistical comparisons with other countries show that burglars in the United States are far less apt to enter an occupied home than their foreign counterparts who live in countries where fewer civilians own firearms. Consider the following rates showing how often a homeowner is present when a burglar strikes. So, we see that other countries have much higher entry rates of criminals into the homes of law abiding and innocent people. We can look no further back than current issues in Europe where gun laws are hindering self-protection from the Radical Islamist who are killing and raping nationals of countries like Germany and Britain.

The result: Orlando’s rape rate dropped 88% in 1967, whereas the rape rate remained constant in the rest of Florida and the nation.
In 1979, the Carter Justice Department found that of more than 32,000 attempted rapes, 32% were actually committed. But when a woman was armed with a gun or knife, only 3% of the attempted rapes were actually successful. Justice Department study: 3/5 of felons polled agreed that “a criminal is not going to mess around with a victim he knows is armed with a gun.” 74% of felons polled agreed that “one reason burglars avoid houses when people are at home is that they fear being shot during the crime.” 57% of felons polled agreed that “criminals are more worried about meeting an armed victim than they are about running into the police.” These facts come from the U.S., Department of Justice, National Institute of Justice, “The Armed Criminal in America: A Survey of Incarcerated Felons,” Research Report (July 1985).
Firearms are employed every day by police, military, and law-abiding private citizens to deter crime, participate in competitions, hunt, and in the gravest extreme, to save the life of a victim of murder, rape, or serious assault. Most often, the mere presence of a firearm is enough to stop criminal activity in its tracks. To the woman whose clothes are about to be torn from her body by a knife-wielding rapist in a deserted parking lot, a handgun in the purse is a lifeline. It is a genuine equalizer that may mean the difference between her life and her death. It gives her a chance when she otherwise would have none.
So one could easily explain that the Liberal agenda is to open the doors to a rapist, thieves, and murderers as well as their onslaught of Radical Islamic Terrorists, whether that learned their hatred in the Middle East, or in the Middle of America. The end result is murder, criminal activity and more when guns are not available to secure safety for the victims. We have seen this time after time.
Why would the President and other high-ranking officials believe that they need guns if it was so easy as to remove guns altogether and crime would decrease? That story by those Liberals is just lies built upon lies to cause fear mongering to take away American’s Constitutional Rights.
Why is it that you don’t hear about the homeowner who defended his family before the police could arrive; or the shopkeeper who saved his own life and the lives of his customers; or the woman who stopped her own rape and murder; or the teacher who stopped the school shooting?
Yet when a single criminal goes on a tragic rampage, that’s ALL you hear about, over and over and over again, along with angry cries to ban firearms. Why?
