Which Republican do you think should run for President in 2012?
It appears that the four front-runners are Palin, Romney, Huckabee, and Gingrich. I love Palin, but she may be too polarizing. Romney has a failed "RomneyCare" program as Governor of Massachusetts. Huckabee raised taxes and commuted a prisoner's sentence who ended up committing murder. Gingrich had an affair. Nobody is perfect. What do y'all think?

There was a quote in my local newspaper editorials several years ago that nearly made me fall out of my chair. It was written

I agree with Brian Banks: We should stick to the topic here: who is best qualified to lead this country out of the deep
trouble we are in? My whole point in addressing this was that your willingness to dismiss Ron Paul's vast contribution over the past 30+ years (in trying to educate the thick-skulled public about the fallacies of the monetary system, for one thing)
over a vote over DADT is very small-minded to say the least. I direct you to Dave Lux's recent excellent review on this post of Ron Paul's accomplishments and list of reasons he is deserving of our utmost respect and support.
Maybe you should consider digging a little deeper into the subject of international central banking so you can get a handle

Unfortunately, my dear, we do live in a real world with an understanding of the implications societal, moral and spiritual directions and choices are effecting every area of our lives. We all seek validation in the most crucial developmental stages of our lives and often continuing into adulthood when deprived of this need being satiated by primary relationships. I do not mean to wax...psychological... but we must hold some standards which will keep our moral moorings in a balanced place. Talk to some honest "homosexuals" and they will share they too crave these boundaries that create security and let us know we are loved and accepted...but not by condoning behavior that does not edify them nor those around them...who love them.

For the record: I did not start the conversation about the "gay issue." I was responding to William Curtis O'Neal's assertion that he would not vote for Ron Paul because Ron Paul voted to repeal DADT. Do you people who are so excited about this
actually read what I have said, or do you just go apoplectic and BLIND at the word "homosexual?" Because I notice no one has responded to the substance of my argument, you just go off on "it's a sin" yada yada yada.
I'm not a liberal, and I'm not gay. I believe in protecting the freedoms of ALL individuals whether I agree with or condone their behavior, or not. As long as they aren't hurting anyone else, it's nobody's business!!
AND I believe that there are much more critical issues to be addressed than this. I hope this will be the end of it here.

None of those can win, nor do any of them except Gingrich have any kind of real back bone, we need to come with some one, strong, convicted, truthful, and not tending to be so self serving; our best president's would be either Herman Cain, John Thune, or possibly Tim Pawlenty. I really believe at this point that either Herman Cain or John Thune would be fantastic, however we need to look at Tim Pawlenty he seems to have great leadership potential as well, and he would carry MN then. We really have quite a few great choices, but we need to quit looking at who the media has made popular, why do you think the media boosts them up now? They want us to pick them, (Palin, Huckabee, Romney) Don't fall for it.

I think that all need to wake up Ron Paul should be listed, he is qualified, and the only constitutionalist among the Republicans, Palin cant be elected though I like her alot, Romney would be controlled by the CFR, and so would Newt Gingrich, Newt is the smartest, but his willingness to go along with Cap and trade scares me. Huckabee, is a big government Republican also. I voted for Bush 2 times, he was the best choice with what we were offered, I tell you that McCain was hand picked because he was the one republican that they were sure would fail, liberal mostly voted like a demosocialist, if he did win then they had the next best thing. When the media attachs a conservative the way it has Palin and Ron Paul, you know that they are populists and stand to do the most harm to the left/right paradigm. Ron Paul for President with Palin as VP. Will we see it...no no, most conservatives listen to fox news and they are selling the republican candidate that they are told to...Romney, Newt, Huckabee, Palin...straw polls have had Ron Paul #1 or #2 every time...and you guys arent even mentioning, what's up with that?
