Unite for Freedom

Here’s an interesting side bar. After the Japanese decimated
our fleet in Pearl Harbor Dec 7, 1941, they could have sent their
troop ships and carriers directly to California to finish what they
started. The prediction from our Chief of Staff was we would not
be able to stop a massive invasion until they reached the
Mississippi River. Remember, we had a 2 million man army and
war ships…...all fighting the Germans.
So, why did they not invade?

After the war, the remaining Japanese generals and admirals were
asked that question. Their answer…...they know that almost every
home had guns and the Americans knew how to use them.

The world's largest army... America's hunters! I had never
thought about this....

A blogger added up the deer license sales in just a handful of
states and arrived at a striking conclusion:

There were over 600,000 hunters this season in the state of
Wisconsin ..

Allow me to restate that number.

Over the last several months, Wisconsin 's hunters became the
eighth largest army in the world.

More men under arms than in Iran ..

More than in France and Germany combined.

These men deployed to the woods of a single American state
to hunt with firearms, and no one was killed.

That number pales in comparison to the 750,000 who hunted the
woods of Pennsylvania and Michigan 's 700,000 hunters, all of
whom have now returned home.

Toss in a quarter million hunters in West Virginia and it
literally establishes the fact that the hunters of those four
states alone would comprise the largest army in the world.
The point?

I was talking to a very old friend  the other day and we got to talking about why Russia never tried to attack the U.S.Now my friend is a retired Army Officer with over 40 yrs.in the military. His answer was short and to the point,It is because there are more armes in the U.S. owned by Citizens then anywere else in the world.I also asked him if he ever thought  ovomit would ever try to call in citizen owned guns.Again short and to the point,he may try and call the guns in BUT Citizens WON'T give them up with out a fight and if ovomit tries to remove them from the Citizens by force they (the government) had better bring a lot of body bags because they are going to need them.I might add that my friend is a Hard Core Conservative like myself and I know what I would do if someone tried to remove my guns from my property by any means.

If or when they come for my guns....they better bring theirs

John, I am with you all the way.

This is the exact reason that the Obama administration is going all out on any and every gun control scheme they can. The DHS, HHS, FBI, and the CIA just to mention a few of the cabinet level organizations just as adamant on gun control.

The American people are not going to just walk in and hand the government their guns, they know as do the majority of mature Americans know, this is their only protection against a tyrannical government gone wild.

While the US hunter would be a formidible force, how many would actually rise to the occasion? There are far too many "sheeple' that would roll-over.

Big government knows that while it would be difficult to remove arms from our "clinging" hands, using Agenda 21, they are moving to eliminate the citizen threat by other means (drugs, monsanto, etc.)

Besides, China could realistically put together a 200 million man army. Which is why they have significantly increased the defense spending. Just saying...

In God only, trust!

The American public was tougher, leaner, and much more patriotic in the thirties and forties, however a well trained army would have prevailed over gun owners in the short term even though the price would have been high, much higher than the Germans paid in Europe before D-Day. I think there were many concerns the Japanese had in securing Asia let alone attempting to invade America. It was a different era with hard work (even with a socialistic leaning President) the order of the day not hand outs. Now the country is 50% takers and only 50% makers (taxpayers). The attack on both the second and first amendments by this administration has to be fought, and as some would say, at all costs.

This is a subject that I believe will be our saving grace. I grew up in the 60's and hated guns since 1 killed my oldest sibling in Viet Nam.Forward to now I think everyone should buy a gun now and increase the 50% makers to a higher %.I eill not allow this socialist =ic bastard to tell me that I have to shut up and lay down. I still do not like guns but with maturity came the realization we each are on our own and cannot depend on govt to respect us as americans. We have the power to take back our freedoms that slowly are being eroded by slight of hand. Many states have militias that are well organized and ready(not crazy) to protect our rights under the constitution that is being ignored. We all should stand up and be counted on election day to take our country back. That is the first step to reclaim this country back to it's greatness.
