“When Congress refuses to act — and as a result, hurts our economy and puts our people at risk — then I have an obligation as president to do what I can without them. I have an obligation to act on behalf of the American people. I'm not going to stand by while a minority in the Senate puts party ideology ahead of the people that we elected to serve. Not with so much at stake, not at this make-or-break moment for middle class Americans. We're not gonna let that happen."
Too bad the Constitutional professor does not understand that in a free Republic, the minority is protected from the tyranny of the majority, and that is especially true when it comes to the machinations of government. He has an obligation to obey the Constitution first and foremost. He has failed.

Furthermore, his own self-first attitude, the fact that he dictatorially chooses to act alone, shows him to be a more abject minority in his thinking than the minority he's complaining about in the Senate.
"We're not gonna let that happen," to quote Obama's own words, should certainly be our own major focus. Please pray for God to bring a moral president to victory in November! PRAY EVERY DAY. PRAY, PRAY, PRAY...
Permalink Reply by Gary Robinson on February 11, 2012 at 9:52pm Praying is a good idea, problem we have is America has turned it's back on God and we may have to learn a very painfull lesson. In fact if Obama is not defeated in Nov. that lesson will be in full bloom We need to contact everyone we know and educate those who haven't had the time to learn what is being done to them. And most of all convince them to vote in Nov>>>>>>>>
Permalink Reply by Boyce barnes on February 19, 2012 at 1:53pm Obama is only showing a samply of what is to come if elected again. We the people will lose job home car and everything we have because this dictator will be in full swing. I licved during WWII and you better beleave he is on the same path as Hitler took. Again we Americans better wise up turn around and ask for Gods help because that is the only way out of Obamas hand. Without GOD America will fall mark my words.
Permalink Reply by Michael Parrish on January 28, 2012 at 11:32am Obama understands the constitution. He is simply, and intentionally, ignoring it. If not intentional, his actions are beyond "stupid". Therefore, Obama is either "stupid", or intentionally destroying america. Either way, he must go ASAP.
I agree. Let's impeach and imprison Obama today.
Permalink Reply by Boyce barnes on February 19, 2012 at 1:44pm We all know that Obama said when taking the oath for President ''I will obey the Constitution'', but now as with everything else he says he turns it around. The people are about to re- elect this man to another 4 years. Yes he has what it takes to fool the people again, money, words, lies that sound like truth, yes a big gift of gab. Our Congress is just playing a joke on the American people. I myself am an American born educated southerner. Obama is playing his cards down right now. If he is elected again he will turn them over to the real face of the card. You see he plays with two faced card and the people thing they see the real side but sad they don''t. Obama has committed tyranny so many times whgile in office we have lost count. Congress will not empeach him, why? because he has the money and they want in on it. Obama and many many members of Congress need to be hanged amd our forefathers would do just that.
Permalink Reply by Gary Robinson on February 19, 2012 at 1:53pm Their all in on it, At this point in the proceedings you would have to be dumb def and blind not to see it. They literally let Obama get away with crimes against this country almost daily. Hopefully the GOP hopefull, once the battle lines are drawn will show the american public all the impeachable offenses this traitor has commited against this country. If this election is lost I truly fear for the survival of this country>>>>>
Permalink Reply by V J Vicari on February 19, 2012 at 1:55pm Hello Joyce, I like your analogy of cards. Yes, absolutely, Obama's "cards" are face down. I dread what is coming up for America if he is re-elected and those cards are shown face up, revealing everything evil that he is. Even those who are deceived right now will wake up when Obama's tyrannical dictates flat-out stop their ordinary freedoms.
I foresee state border searches, body searches to enter banks, shopping malls and even supermarkets if this narcissistic sociopath gets everything he demands. I'm not sure that money is the sole reason Congress isn't stopping him. With Obama's Chicago history, and his blatant arrogance, I suspect thuggery is involved here, that many in Congress are under threats of some type.
Please pray that God brings relief to us by the defeat of this terrible president.
Permalink Reply by Boyce barnes on February 19, 2012 at 2:07pm V J your right. Congress is being threatend and yes this sort of thing goes on in Washingyon more than anyone knows. It is something that has been going on for many years and has only gotten worse. You would be supprised just who has who killed in just the past twenty years. Its a shame that people can't stay honest after they are elected to high ofice.
Permalink Reply by V J Vicari on February 19, 2012 at 3:10pm Hi Boyce, (with a B!)
Power comes with a spirit, a heightened sense of invincibility that overtakes a person if he/she is drawn to embrace it. It is a spirit of evil, and there are some who want no part of that evil side of power. Fortunately, we still have honorable people who resist a heady and self-serving rush of power and are able to maintain an unselfish path toward good.
I agree with you that deaths have happened in Washington under suspicious circumstances. Our own senses tell us, that combined with other details, many of those deaths were actually murders. How can we trust government when they reveal corruption to us each and every day?
My choice for the presidential nominee this year is Rick Santorum. I do see honor in him, and though Romney is pushing hard to discredit him, no one is perfect. Santorum voted with others during his time in the Senate, which did prove to have some unfavorable outcomes. Romney attacks Santorum as though he was solely responsible. It's dirty politics to me.
However, I think Santorum possesses the heart and character of a man who really does love America, and though being imperfect like the rest of us, he will lead us on a positive path, not the downward and thorny path we are on now with Obama and that we would still be on with Romney.
Permalink Reply by Gary Robinson on February 19, 2012 at 3:15pm The imperative is defeating Obama, The best man to assomplish this is Newt Gingrich, he is the man for the job. He will be a good president as well>>>>>>
Permalink Reply by V J Vicari on February 19, 2012 at 3:26pm Newt Gingrich is on my list too, Gary, so time will tell if he can still make it. I'm hoping Romney doesn't win the nomination though. How could I help him become president with my vote when he's showing how dirty his tactics are right now?
Couldn't we see his present dirty politics as a forerunner of how he will conduct himself once in power? Ugh, no, not Romney!
